They went above and beyond to meet our demands since we were traveling with our 7 month old baby. They put a microwave in our room so we would be able to heat food for our baby 24/7. We had the three course dinner one night and the food was unbelievably good. We were told breakfast would be served at 8 o’clock and once we got downstairs in the mornings the breakfast was already on the table waiting for us. The nature is breathtakingly beautiful and the view from the bedroom as well. We can’t wait to go back. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing place and highly recommended if you’re traveling with kids. You have many great places to visit just around the village. Also many tracks to hike. Great view to the mountains. In the village also many supermarkets? shops and restaurants . If you like hiking (not climbing), Hohentauern is the right place. There are some peaks to climb, but only up to 2500 metres altitude. Many streams and lakes make the hikes eventful.
