This is an apartment hotel, my room was a studio with a balcony on the sixth floor. The studio is small but for a single person had enough space to never feel cramped. The rooms are well designed in the layout with a wardrobe and small desk as well as a kitchen and dining area with cooking pans, plate, utensils to make regular meals. The bathroom has a shower and nice vanity and again well designed with plenty of light. A free laundry area is available on the first floor as well as a gym. Staff are very helpful. Wi-fi was excellent. The hotel is walking distance to the CBD and popular Smith Street restaurants and nightlife as well as Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens.

Geelong has a lot to offer with some great restaurants, cafes and pubs for meals. Well located if you want to travel to other places like Lorne, Barwon Heads, Queenscliff, but want more reasonable hotel rates, Geelong is more reasonably priced. Good shopping and great waterfront. Easy to get around with either public transport or car. There’s lots of wineries nearby so that’s also a bonus.

Really enjoyed the Paddle Steamer excursion and gaining an understanding of the 'lock system' along the river. People were friendly and helpful. Best dining experience was 'Enjoywine Char Grill & Bar'. Amazing food and great service. Also, really enjoyed the visit to Wentworth Gaol and the Wentworth Pioneer Museum - really interesting! Easy city to navigate, sightseeing venues central, easy to locate. Staff in shops professional & friendly, happy, good service is shops. Good range of shopping & eateries available, only criticism would be that we couldn’t find a coffee shop open after 4pm on Sunday, apart from the RSL. Botanical gardens worth visiting.
