- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 585 reviewsit is a family run business and the owners and family members were so wonderful. The husband is the Chef and the daughters assist - the food is incredibly good - best I’ve had at a restaurant in a long while. The presentation is something you would see in an upscale restaurant. the breakfast is a large breakfast selection The room was bigger than expected, very clean and comfortable - only 10 minutes from Tongeren. They accept pets (nowhere in Tongeren accepts pets) it was perfect for me and it is located where you have plenty of areas to walk your dog. I would absolutely recommend this location!! I would definitely stay again on my next trip now that I have been fortunate enough to find it. Thank you for my wonderful stay and great conversation.Guest review byMoniqueUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 208 reviewsThe place is great, you really feel like at home, you have everything at hand, spotless clean, modern and very nice furniture, quiet and peaceful neighborhood, very close to Maastricht, a lor of possibilities to visit the area. But what really exceeded any expectations is the hosts. They took care of everything for us, amazing breakfast, great value for the money. We traveled a lot around Europe and the world, but we never encountered so far such a careful host, for sure will be visiting again.Guest review byPeterPancakeRomania
- From $184.77 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 126 reviewsI took an art class 2 1/2 miles from this location so it was perfect for a short bike commute. With global warming, it was nice to have air conditioning as an option because most small countryside places in Belgium don’t necessarily have air-conditioning..Guest review byCynthiaUnited States

There’s just enough to do here for an overnight stay - two nights might be pushing it. The flea market (Sunday) is great and there are enough high quality museums to keep you busy. A decent number of bars and restaurants and there are some lovely areas to walk around. A nice place for a relaxing break.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The area is calm, with so much nature to explore.
The area is calm, with so much nature to explore. There are hikes to do with many paths. There are sights to visit such as the 'reading between the lines' church, a wall still standing in parts of the city from ancient Roman times, several local pubs, and pastry shops that make your mouth water.Guest review bycatherineCanada - 6.0
Riemst or better, Kanne as this part of the city is so close...
Riemst or better, Kanne as this part of the city is so close to Netherlands that its hard to say where the frontier is. This is also the reason that there are just two or three places to eat (Snack, Friture and Café). No bakery, no butcher, of course no supermarket, no public swimming pool. Whats nice is the short bike ride to Maastricht via Mergelweg, where "Auto is te gast" (Cars are allowed but bikers have more rights).Guest review byOliverGermany - 8.0

On the border with The Netherlands, 8 kms away from Maastricht. Perfect weekend destination for walkers and cyclers, along the river Maas. Might get crowded on holidays I guess. Known for its bakeries (queues on Sunday morning!)Guest review byMarie HeleneBelgium - 10.0

Close enough to Hasselt to be convenient, but also far enough away to escape to a more peaceful area. The restaurants are very good with a wide choice of food and drink. Locals are very friendly and welcoming.Guest review byNeilM42United Kingdom - 10.0

Kortessem is a busy little town with lots of traffic going through but after a few minutes you are in the apple, pear and cherrie plantations. The bike roads are very well kept. Maastricht, Tongeren, Sint Truiden aren't very far away if you like citywalks and shopping.Guest review byMichaelBelgium - 10.0
Tongeren is a very clean village.
Tongeren is a very clean village. The people are always very kind and courteous. We enjoy eating at the different restaurants. They have a gelato shop with plenty flavors. If you want a great selection of wines, then Vinotel is the place for you! The Grand Place is quant with a beautiful Cathedral. Most things are within walking distance. The shops are well decorated and inviting. You’ll find plenty of Antique stores too.Guest review byGloradeanGermany
