The staff was very accommodating. The food(dinner) on both stays were very good. Was a bit apprehensive seeing it was the only accommodation at the halfway point to Inuvik. There was nothing to worry about, everything worked out well.

It was the best place I have ever stayed during traveling. Near the lake. Hiking trail. Nice dog and cats. Beautiful breakfast. The most impressive thing is the living room. I very enjoyed here and the most beautiful memory is in Yellowknife.

The location is very good. Is very near to Frame Lake and is just right located at the downtown. Is easily walkable to everywhere. The owner (James) is very helpful and caring. If you message him, he’ll immediately responded back. The property is very clean.

I really liked the bed — it was firm and very comfortable. I have some back pain, but this bed actually made my back feel better. The bathroom was spacious with plenty of hot water, and the kitchen was large and well equipped. The place felt new and clean, and the host was very nice.

We stayed in Yellowknife for five nights, which felt a bit long. Our main goal was to see the Northern Lights, but unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great — it was cloudy and rainy most of the time. We managed to see the aurora on two nights, though only briefly. If the weather is good, staying for about three nights would be enough, since there aren’t many places to visit during the day.

Inuvik is a terrific place, but my warning is about meals.

Inuvik is a terrific place, but my warning is about meals. It is difficult to find open restaurants (none in the AM) so I recommend bringing in groceries or going to the store to purchase picnic essentials.

Not much to review! 20000 people.

Not much to review! 20000 people. Went to old town and drove though downtown. Lots of people just hanging around on the streets. City is modern architecture with little in the way of historic. Old town is a mix of restaurants and industrial on the shores of a Canadian shield lake. I thought there would be more to see and do

We only stayed in Inuvik on our way to and from Tuktoyaktuk.

We only stayed in Inuvik on our way to and from Tuktoyaktuk. There is only a takeout restaurant in town but the food was good. There is very little to do, so simply passing through was perfect. Frankly, would not recommend Inuvik as a place to spend much time.

the city has it all what you need.

the city has it all what you need. Maybe restaurants options are limited and food a bit more expensive as usual. It is a departure point to Aurora Village, if you forgot something you can buy it here, no problem.
