- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 85 reviewsThe chalet was beautiful - looked brand new although Rob (the owner) said they were 23 years old. Lots of space around the Chalet no one was right close by. They offered a group fire pit but we never made it over. They have chairs, umbrellas & towels to bring to the beach. We had chairs & an umbrella but borrowed a couple beach towels. One of my sisters & my friend have mobility issues so Rob offered to drive us to the beach (5 min walk) on a golf cart & gave me the number to call when we were ready to come back to the chalet so they could pick us back up! Very accommodating!! FYI there is no air conditioning but if you lower the Windows in the heat of the day & close the drapes then open both up at night time there is a beautiful breeze off the water to cool the place down. There is a fire place in the living room that was all set to light although we didn’t use it, it looks very nice. Not a lot of noise - no loud partying. It was a very nice place!Guest review byMaeCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 105 reviewsWe adored the cottage. it had everything. Great location, and the owner, Nick, was amazing and helpful. Two spots to access the beach for low tide and high tide. Wonderful proximity to the bridge which we could see. Also, excellent communication and response to questions by Nick! Thank you again!Guest review byTracyCanada

I love Charlottetown. It's my second visit!
I love Charlottetown. It's my second visit! My niece graduated Holland College in 2016 and now my grandson is attending Holland. We had a great time getting him settled for the next two years then on to UPEI! Unfortuntely we had little time for experiencing all that Charlottetown has to offer!Guest review byRachelBahamas - 10
The room had dresser drawers for storage!
The room had dresser drawers for storage! A great size refrigerator with a freezer! A microwave and outside balcony! We had room # 22 which was dog friendly and on the end! Easy access to the beautiful grounds to walk the dog! Close to everything (45 minutes) to Charlottetown but not so busy! Water view! Absolutely a fantastic place to stay! Comfy beds and a great shower !!!Guest review byDorothyUnited States - 8.0

We were in an off-season, so a lot of places were closed. We mainly wanted to see the famous beach and it was great! It was clear that Cavendish is really a summer tourist's town. We also enjoyed a very nice view of a bay, walking along a long wooden sidewalk, nearby at North-Rustico. It is very easy to see all the main attractions all on Cavendish Drive. People were friendly and many were saying hello!Guest review byAlyre - 8.0

Great Location as a base for East PEI , Wheelhouse at Georgetown wonderful , Bogside Brewery in Montegue again marvellous food and beer. Just steer clear of Rodds Hotels as it’s extremely prejudiced to Booking.com customers.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Lovely area just outside Charlottetown.
Lovely area just outside Charlottetown. Close to local amenities. Room was large and clean. Great choice for families as there’s a kitchen and private living room/lounge area to hang out in. Easy to find, quiet area.Guest review byPinsonneaultCanada - 10
This location is GREAT.
This location is GREAT. We spent a week exploring every nook and cranny of PEI and this location is central and close to best beaches. They are rated that for a reason. PEI never gets too crowded even in high season so do yourself a favor and stay in this rolling farmland reminiscent of the south of France with great dining options nearby as well.Guest review byKellyUnited States - 10
This is one of the nicer areas of the island.
This is one of the nicer areas of the island. The beach is spectacular and you can walk for miles along the beach! It is also fairly calm and safe for swimming as it is fairly shallow for quite a distance out. Close by, by car, there is a cute ice cream, coffee cafe, picnic area which was very handy, as well as a grocery store and right beside it, a fabulous bakery which also sells coffees and has tables outside! All in all, a wonderful visit.Guest review byVittorioCanada - 10

We loved the size of the room, the cleanliness, the great sheets, good-looking bed-spreads, soft new blankets, and very comfortable mattresses. The towels were plentiful and sparkling white. The microwave and mini-fridge worked very well, as did the television. It was also reassuring to have a tuck shop adjacent to the motel for snacks, drinks, etc. The fact that we had requested a toaster, and received one immediately was a much appreciated extra. Thank you kindly. The motel was so very convenient to our trip, right on the highway. We lost no time at all as it was easy to find and very attractive from the road.Guest review byPaolo - 10

we were literally 5 minutes from town. has a view of the ocean and farmland.racehorses for neighbors! restaurants, grocery store gas all within 5 minutes drive. plus, deep sea fishing just down the road from all that! we toured almost the whole island in 5 days! everywhere you go is a view of something cool. we saw the northern lights and the perseids from our backyard! but the beaches are so dark at night, you get a better view. and they are easy to get to.Felix was a great host and I hope I get back there again!!!!!!Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10

Great walking town with a lot of food options and shops for souvenirs. Lobster on the Wharf had a great Lobster Mac'n Cheese dish. They also had great BlueBerry Mule drink. Everything was close to the Inn the we stayed (Dundee Arms Inn). Also had a great run around Victoria Park along the boardwalk. Also visited Government House and had a great conversation with the Wife of the Lieutenant Governor General.Guest review byFrancisCanada
