This is an amazing hotel very comfortable very quiet with a view of the Matterhorn from my windows the breakfast is the best I’ve ever experienced in the hotel in my 70 years. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. It was exemplary in every way. And affordable at the beginning of December

2nd time here. A perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate after a Materhorn ultraks marathon. Amazing view to Materhorn from the pool and rooms. The incredibly welcoming, accomodating people at the front desk.The dining was a culinary delight. The wine from the nearby region. Superb breakfast.

I appreciated the openness with which leadership shared their values and what drove them: Adriana and her husband Pedro claimed they support the local economy, from the building of the hotel with materials exclusively sourced in Switzerland and a majority of Swiss labor. Thanks to sustainable construction materials, Swiss-made solar panels on the roof, and the use of wood pellets for heating, the hotel will allegedly be carbon negative. As far as operations go, Nelio said staff got wages significantly higher than the industry average. While I did not verify these claims, this does seem to reflect on the whole staff, who were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the lengths to which Susana went to support my breakfast experience and Raduan's cocktails were amazing. The Raspberry Sour is a must!

    This is a wonderful hotel. It’s right next to the Zermatt furi lift station which alone is worth the stay. Last thing you want to do after a big day of skiing is carry kids’ skis for miles or fight for a shuttle or taxi home. Staff are really amazing. They went out their way to help us track down some lost luggage. You can get your ski passes directly from the hotel. For us it actually turned out a little cheaper than getting it on the Zermatt app. There is an indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi which the kids loved after skiing. It’s a 20min walk or a rather expensive 15CHF taxi ride to town centre. There is a good breakfast but no hotel restaurant as such for lunch or dinner. They can however order food from any restaurant so it arrives at the hotel for dinner, which can be enjoyed at the hotel. We usually like to try different hotels when we travel but this one I’d come back to.

    The hotel was amazing, from getting picked up to the check in with the hotel owner. Everything was perfect, breakfast was fantastic with the option to get anything you needed or wanted would be cooked. We enjoyed having some wine sitting by the fireplace both afternoons. The hotel was far enough but close enough to the main street. The staff were super helpful and accommodating, even having the owner coming up to us at breakfast to make sure everything was okay was a really nice touch. The beds were super comfortable and the turndown service was great. We would definitely stay here again.

    I've stayed here 2x before and came back because it's such a lovely place in a great location - two minutes' walk from the bus station at Chandolin Poste, two minutes from the grocery shop, and with an amazing breakfast and dinner offerings. The rooms (I stayed in the bunk bed option but by myself) are very comfortable, with a great bathroom setup (rain shower!), comfy bed, water, coffee machine and pods, and lift access to the rooms. The staff are truly lovely and let us store our overnight bags before and after our stay while we went to work up on the mountain.

    Unless you are a dedicated hiker we think one and half to two days is enough time to spend there. We had already been up four mountain peaks in Switzerland so we were more interested in the area than going up another peak. Others with difference experience may have a view.

    Many different restaurants and bars to choose from and an immense amount of history to look into. There is also the most incredible museum/gallery, the Gionadda Foundation, which was brilliant and worth the trip on its own.

    The prices are much more reasonable than in Zermatt, and it is practically the last village you can reach by car. So in my opinion it is very good to sleep in Täsch and travel by train to Zermatt. The trains are every 20 minutes.

    It's a very cool place.

    It's a very cool place. We only stayed one night but enjoyed our stay. We took the cable car from the top of the mountain after having walked from the Hotel Schwarenbach. Make sure to bring your Visa card as everything is expensive. That's not a complaint, it's just the reality of a tourist, mountain town. We went to the thermal baths and that was fun. We stayed at the Hotel Waldhaus. Highly recommended as well.

    Brig was truly a hidden gem!

    Brig was truly a hidden gem! We stayed at Hotel Victoria, directly across from the train station - which we loved. The main part of the city was really close and in walking distance. Great shops and resturants and gelato shops. They have a little train that goes around the city and gives you another perspective. It was perfect! There was a historic castle with tour. Unfortunately, the tour was in German, but we enjoyed it.

    Sion is the capital of the Canton of Valais in southwestern Switzerland. It's a city rich in history and serves as a gateway to the Alps, with easy access to popular ski resorts like Crans-Montana and Verbier, as well as a wide range of hiking trails. It is also well known for its wine. If you travel around this area, you will see a lot of vineyards. The city is charming, surrounded by mountains with old building still being occupied and nice cafés and restaurants everywhere. I love visiting the French-speaking parts of Switzerland for the delicious French food and pastries.

    Amazing location and view, very quiet and clean (no cars allowed in the village). Lots of hiking trails and activities to do. Very nice restaurants. Sometimes it was hard to find the hiking trails and understand their difficulty and lengths. Maybe more signs would make it easier

    Very beautiful area with shops & restaurants within walking distance of the hotel we stayed in (elite). Bus trip up into the mountain villages was excellent & very reasonable priced. Lots of nice restaurants in Visp. Local wines worth a try.

    Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis.

    Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis. The perfect base to organize your trips from. Locally you have the Cable car to Fiescher-Alp and Eggishorn. Several walks of 5 to 10 Km loops are passing in Fiesch. In less than a one-hour drive, you can reach the passes Grimsel, Furka, Simplon, and Gottart. Close by you can also find Binn which is a great spot for 1-day hikes on a higher altitude. Fiesch has all the shops you could need. Fuel and resto are a bit cheaper than in the big cities. I loved it!
