Amazing location, directly on the beach. Fully equipped bungalow with stunning view.

We booked the waterfront villa so the view to the sea was amazing. A really comfortable room with a lot of space. There were free bikes that we used to explore the island or go to the mini market and the atm. There were also free kanoes. Amazing place.

We hired a scooter from a local rental company (Rino’s is best) which allowed us easy access to this stunning property, located in one of the most amazing parts of the island! The house is modern, clean, quiet, and has stunning views. We watched whales from the deck, ate pawpaw fresh from the trees. Our hosts (Simon and Ura) picked us up from the airport and saw us off at the end. Their hospitality during our stay was amazing. They remained in contact to make sure we were happy and assisted us with local recommendations and bookings as well. Absolutely recommend.

Surrounded by lush coconut trees, the entire house exudes a peaceful charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the close proximity to the beach—just a short walk away. It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical. The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach. Every aspect of Are Kapakapa reflects the love and effort that Vaa and Joliene pour into their hospitality. The combination of the peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and personal touches made our stay truly special. Great location. Friendly staff. The pool and the lagoon were great. Walking distance to bars and Cafe. Scooter hire at the premises.

Loved the view, location and staff

We were picked up on arrirval by Cheran She greeted us and our short ride to Tai Roto she told us all the info we needed to know about our stay. The grounds there are Immaculate, beautiful gardens and breath taking views of the lagoon. Our room was perfect, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful right down to the vanity. Staff there were all so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious.

We had everything we needed with proper beachfront access. Loved the outdoor shower, kitchen facilities, a fan, mosquito net, that we had filtered water, free paddle board hire, comfy lounge chairs, hammocks and we could even hire a scooter onsite (1 available i believe). Communication was fantastic! Highly recommended for adventurous people and those that love camping.
