Amazing stay! Amazing views. Family run hotel. You can feel the love there. Friendly, warm and welcoming. They greet you with a smile and open the door when you arrive and wish you a good day when you leave. Breakfast is amazing. They helped organize our river cruise for a fraction of online costs and packed our breakfasts to go that morning as well. Would’ve loved to stay longer here. We will be back. Bonus: Laundry on site for free DIY or you can have it done for a small cost.

I’ve been traveling around China for 5 months and this was my most memorable stay thanks to the lovely people. They really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and make it an enjoyable travel experience, from helping book tours to always being happy to chat. Bonus is the hotel connects to a running/biking trail (also leads straight to Reed Flute Cave) and the location is very convenient.

The guest service staff was excellent in their services, gave a lot of personalized recommendations and helped us tremendously in our 5 night stay at guilin. The rooms were clean and was very spacious and the place was also very scenic, with a nice route for cycling as well. The staff, especially one staff member, was amazing. Helped so much with trips and gave so much advice and very friendly. The breakfast is also amazing, and the breakfast dining room is very comfy. The hotel overall is just very cute and our room was very cute. and the staff are extremely (like I want to emphasize it) friendly and helpful. Even packed us lunch for our boat trip when we left the hotel.

Beautiful area, and far from city center. Comfortable clean rooms with amenities and nice view. Breakfast was so good and freshly prepared. They provide electric bike and bicycles for guests to use, free of charge. Incredibly attentive and cooperative host, thank you Mr. Xiao. He gifted us watermelon and cookies before taking off to our next stop.

    Guilin's natural beauty is unquestionable, but the city has to upgrade its facilities such as free wi-fi covering main transportation entries in the city. It is a city with rich cultural and historical heritage, but we cannot see much of the cultural activities. There is a grand building( theatre) beside the Jiefang bridge, which costs 100 million RMB to build, is empty. The public transportation has no electrical display of stops. The recording is difficult to hear and understand.

    The view is superb!

    The view is superb! I have never seen anything like this in my life. The locals are kind and ready to help. Very safe to travel by family or alone. It's best to spend a week there and explore the region by renting a local electric scooter . But some point of interests are far apart and required to travel by boat so if you can't be bothered, make sure to have your local tour guide to help.

    UNESCO site.

    UNESCO site. Beautiful landscapes. wear proper hiking waterproof shoes. Raincoat for rainy days in March. plan to spend at least 2 nights. book rides with the Hotel to facilitate the arrival process...visitors have to pay entrance fee to the Ping On village. there is a ticket office and security gate for this purpose. travel light and enjoy its natural beauty.

    Nanning is a beautiful city.

    Nanning is a beautiful city. We enjoyed an evening exploring the streets around the hotel even though there were quite a large roadwork project going on. We only spent one full day in the city to fit in at the end of our 15 day visa free viit to China. Qinxiushan scenic area is quite stunning and a beauitiful place requiring a full day to fully appreciate. There is a lot more to see in and around Nanning so we may need to return one day!

    Something important to mention is that the map location on booking.com didn't correspond with the actual location of the hotel I stayed in! so this is something to double check and rectify! Beihai old town was fantastic and shopping for pearls and eating out was wonderful-there are beautiful souvenirs, great food and architecture and it is the best place to buy pearls (bracelets, rings, necklaces, broaches etc...) A trip to the nearby Weizhou island is quite the treat but the actual beaches in Beihai seem to get way too/ridiculously crowded in the Summer and seem to be in a state of development with lots of construction taking place next to them!

    Beautiful, underrated, I should have stayed one more night.

    Beautiful, underrated, I should have stayed one more night. It was very easy to get around and the entire village at Ping'an has English and Chinese signage all on farming/hiking trails. I can't believe how empty the village is and part of me is concerned that not enough tourists are visiting even though I loved the serenity of it. Many stores/hotels were empty or closed, perhaps due to COVID-19.

    It’s the provincial capital of Guangxi Autonomous Region so there’s a lot economic and social activity going around. Lots of entertainment venues and good infrastructure and transportation services to navigate around the city. Just remember to keep some loose change if you’re taking the bus since the phone payment systems only work for Chinese citizens.

    Lao Dongjiang rice noodles are very close, highly recommended, they have local flavors that locals like to eat. This street is a street I visited, Shijiayuan Road, there are many snacks, etc. Opposite the hotel is Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, which is very suitable for walking and taking pictures. It is beautiful during the day and even more beautiful at night.
