- From US$128.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 415 reviewsIf you want to experience the most traditional Cyprus, come to this place. The apartment is in a classic country house with a great original romantic atmosphere and design, all at the same time very comfortable and clean. In the heart of the village, in the middle of the narrow streets, it was very refreshing to walk in the morning for breakfast in the nearby restaurant, which also belongs to the host. The breakfast was great, all fresh homemade products (by the way, don't forget to have a traditional dinner here - Cypriot meze, it's an exceptional experience). The employees were very nice and attentive, and the owner one of the most helpful people I have met during my travels.Guest review byMartinaSlovakia
- From US$75.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 413 reviewsMost beautiful view on the mountains either from our room and from patio with the swimming pool. You have everything that you need, you don't have to go anywhere (even bottles of local wines in mini shop). Beds are comfortable. The staff even provided us with grapes from the garden when we asked them (delicious btw, if you go there u need to try them). I sadly don't have any fotos od the room, oni short videos. But everything is as described on booking. Highly recommended.Guest review byAleksandraPoland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 2,067 reviewsThis hotel has the old scholl grand alure, it is very big, with large sized rooms. The bathrooms of the cheaper rooms are a bit more simple, but everything was comfortable. The breakfast was the est i had on the entire island! Never saw such a big breakfast buffet. It is also open when we were with only a small amount of guests, so enjoy it as much you can!Guest review bySuzanneNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 580 reviewsWe spent one night in very peaceful and quite village. No people, silence and fantastic views from the balcony. Very friendly staff, good breakfast and lunch. The family room was very small for 4 people, but we spent only one night there, so it wasn't a problem. But if you stay longer I would recommend to choose 2 rooms option.Guest review byDariaIsrael
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 251 reviewsThe room was compact, but it had everything we needed. We really appreciated the small cooking area, which was well-equipped with all the appliances necessary to prepare our vegan meals. The large fridge was especially useful. We also loved the pool and the terrace table, which allowed us to enjoy our meals outdoors.Guest review byMartaIreland

The room felt very clean, bed linen fresh, bathroom also very clean (with bathtub), room equipped with a fridge, kettle, dishes.Guest review byEleneGeorgia

I was expecting more people in Platres during the summer month of may but unfortunately the place looked deserted. Very few restaurants were open to have lunch and dinner, and sometimes the quality was very avarage. I would not recomment visiting Platres in July, perhaps August will be much better when local people take their holidays.Guest review byPETROSCyprus - 10.0

Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Its picturesque setting, with stone houses, cobblestone streets, and lush landscapes, creates an idyllic atmosphere for visitors. The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors. In the village center, the traditional architecture remains intact, with taverns like Podji Poda serving excellent local cuisine, and small cafés welcoming you for a relaxing drink and dessert in the main square. Landmarks such as the chapels of Saint Nicholas and Saint George provide opportunities for pilgrimage, while Marina's Rope Park offers activities for the more adventurous visitors. Overall, Kakopetria is an ideal destination for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, blending absolute tranquility with opportunities for outdoor activities and cultural exploration.Guest review byDimitris31Cyprus - 8.0
The spa and treatments were special.
The spa and treatments were special. The location was unique. Views are amazing! Food was fresh and tasty. Buggies were ready available to take you to your car, carry your luggage etc. Complimentary drinks were a nice touch. Cobbled streets and lots of steps can be hard to walk on if elderly or infirmed. Vehicular lift is handy to take you to the main road where there are restaurants and bars, also a kiosk selling many items. Good nature trails.Guest review byBarbaraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Omodos is a beautiful village with lots of nice wineries near by. It can get busy with coach parties but that is to be expected. Most restaurants and cafes close early evening so not a great deal to do in the evening. Wear comfy shoes as there is a lot of walking round all the narrow streets but it is so worth it. We have visited several times and enjoy it each time.Guest review byGeraldineCyprus - 10.0

Agros village is a perfect place to escape from busy city life for a couple of days and to enjoy the tranquility of traditional village lifestyle, walk the narrow streets, with beautiful , authentic architecture, meet locals, try local food and of course to recharge yourself with nature and mountain sceneries. Agros is very, very clean and the water is super tasty)Guest review byAlenaCyprus - 8.0

Pedoulas was a wonderful base from which to explore this area of the Troodos Mountains. It was our first time in the mountains of Cyprus and we wanted to see sites such as Kykkos Monastery, Archangel Michaels church etc. and to do nature trails in the mountains. We achieved these objectives very comfortably from our location and could also move on to the west coast with a scenic (but very winding!) drive back down to sea level:)Guest review byRichardAustralia - 10.0

Beautiful and well preserved mountain village, people are really friendly and they show love for their place. It is obvious they take good care of it. We had dinner and lunch at two different places and they were both really good. There is also a nice coffee shop with views of the mountains.Guest review byMariaCyprus - 6.0
Potamitissa itself doesn’t have things to do.
Potamitissa itself doesn’t have things to do. However, villages such as Pelendri, Agros, Kyperounta are near by and have plenty of things to do. Do visit the taiakkas winery near pelendri for a nice immersive experience. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the Symposio Taverna in pelendri.Guest review byJuliaCyprus
