The room was clean and neat and had everything that I needed and I thought the room was a little larger than I would normally expect and it had a lounge which was greatly appreciated. The train line is about 5 minutes walk and it is two stops to Copenhagen central. From there you change to the metro for other areas of the city. The place to go on the metrol (line 3 red) is Kongens Nytrov which is the tourist district. The location is a short 10 minute walk to one of the major metro stations. There are also several bus stops within 5-10 minutes, and the hotel makes bicycles available to guests. Great, vibrant city filled with nice and helpful people. Moving from point to point was very easy thanks to great metro system. We have visited some places that could be exciting for kids like the city zoo and we also had a trip by a boat through the city canals. Food was tasty. Helsingor is an adorable town an hour north of Copenhagen. I don't know that I'd have ever thought to go there but my son decided to get married there. It was an ideal meeting place for both families as his wife is from Germany. There are lots of lovely shops and restaurants and the ferry to Sweden is super easy to catch. The hotel is clean and very close to the train station so, it was very easy to get to central station which gives you access to all the trains that will get you to where you want to go. It dark in these time of the year, but it is a great and green place. Friendly people and possibly nice path for recreations. I were business there though. Very clean, newly renovated, quiet. The room well appointed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is in a small shopping area with a supermarket,small restaurants and every convenience very close. It’s a bit out of the city centre, so maybe not ideal if you are sightseeing in Copenhagen, but it’s on a bus line. My only small gripe- the pillows were small and we could have used two each and the winter bedcovers were too warm for June. Location and the grounds is very nice. The breakfast is ok but served between 7-9am. Room was big but outdated. TV has few channel and no bluetooth. Two person bed was separate spring mattresses that kept drifting apart. Bathroom is not up to standards for this kind of location and price range. Its a conference hotel more than it should be. It is usually very easy to go around by public transportation, and now the Rejenkort app makes things even easier to pay for the tickets. Historic buildings extremely interesting, nice architectural design of the town, close location to many potential places worth sightseeing. A little bit too poor availability of restaurants, in particular on weekends. Very unfortunate system of payment for parking lots in town, complicated in operation and not always working.
