- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 60 reviewsThis property was the PERFECT little retreat in the woods, and everything I hoped it would be. Used it as a base for hiking the trails in the park nearby and it was so perfectly close to the areas I wanted to visit. The cabins were adorable, very comfortable, and in my case I was traveling alone but did not have to pay a super high fee to have an entire cabin to myself. Kitchen was easy to access and use, shower had hot water and good pressure, and Ulle could not have been kinder or more helpful.Guest review bySylviaUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 83 reviewsThe owners were so extremely helpful and full of information, we learnt so much while here. The restaurant food was delicious and well priced. Our accommodation had everything we needed and more, comfortable and warm which is very important in the winter. If I was to come back to the area, I would most definitely be staying here again.Guest review byAlexandreaKAustralia

The room was really nice, clean, cozy, well lit. The facilities and surroundings are beautiful. The spa is quite small but has everything you need to relax - 3 different saunas, cold plunge, 2 jaccuzis - and beer!Guest review byReneEstonia
- From $90.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,502 reviewsReally enjoyed my stay there. The thing i didn't know is that you can pay extra 10 euros at the counter and have an access to spa which was good. ( I was lucky enough to have the whole spa for myself) :)Guest review byValts KruminsLatvia

Rakvere is where my mother went to high school.
Rakvere is where my mother went to high school. Later the rest of her family (mother and sister) moved there to live. I consider it my home town away from my home town. Not only does it have great permanent attractions, like the 800-year-old castle with actors recreating life 500 years ago, but it has great occasional events. Like a punk rock festival every year. One time I was there, I unexpectedly came upon a street organ festival and spent the rest of the afternoon/evening with them. It has great places to eat with a variety of cuisines, from local to Caucasian and Asian (including sushi) and friendly, comfortable places to stay in between the eating, music and medieval life. It's small enough to get around on foot, but there are lots of buses too. You are sure to enjoy it!Guest review byTundernAustralia - 8.0

Beatiful and calm neighborhood with plenty possibilities to walk around in the nature. Eating possibilities are limited because the nearest neighbours are 6-7 km away. Still there is plenty activity possibilities in Vihula Manor itselt (museums, sports activities, trekking).Guest review byEeroEstonia - 10

Käsmu is , quite simply one of the most unspoiled, serene and beautiful villages in the whole world. The views out across the bay are balm to the soul and walks in the primeval forests (nature's cathedral) and the peninsula are wonderful. The little church is charming with an organ, if you can manage to catch a service or concert, that is a musical marvel. Parts of this venerable instrument are over 300 years old! The informative and elegant Sea Museum, once a school for sailors, will tell you the history of the fine ships built here and the brave souls of the "Captain's Village" who sailed the seven seas in the 19th century. The village is still quite remote and careful planning is needed to get there by public transport. Direct buses go from Tallinn or there are buses from the local hub at Rakvere but these are few and far between. But Käsmu is well worth the effort and there are several excellent guest houses to stay in when you arrive ...Guest review byHilaryEstonia - 8.0
A pleasant little town in the north of the country.
A pleasant little town in the north of the country. It was a pleasure to walk through the restored streets of the old town. There are plenty of restaurants with good food and a relaxed atmosphere. Would have been nice to have extended opening hours for the museums and extended time to visit the castle, but our visit coincided with the Easter holiday and this may have been the reason for the reduced opening hours.Guest review byKonstantins KLatvia - 10
It is a beautiful peaceful town in Estonia.
It is a beautiful peaceful town in Estonia. A castle for sightseeing. A peacefull parc for recreation. There is also a spa with a 25m swimming pool. In the center village you find old restored buildings which are worth seeing. For shopping there is near the city a shopping mall.Guest review byAndreaSwitzerland
