Outstanding, cheerful service from the minute I arrived. Breakfast was varied, delicious and generous. I love the land they have, and it’s only a 15 minute walk from the centre. The pool is ideal for cooling off from the sun, and there is a lovely traditional tent you can sit in too. Internet is adequate for emails.

Felt like home. The owner named Ashraf was very hospitable he gave us an additional day to stay since we had a late ride back to cairo. Very calm atosphere with beautiful palm trees and nicely built rooms. Great to have a good rest. 10 minutes away from the market . Great spot to visit all the places recommended around Siwa.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the front desk. I think his name was Mohamed Ahmed and the lady at the front desk was amazing; She gave me useful tips about Marsa Matrouh. The other lady at the cafe on the ground floor was extremely welcoming and she walked all the way from the cafe to the beach to ask us if we need any refreshment. The room service was also amazing; we had breakfast and when we returned the room was cleaned proactively; the room service lady always had a welcoming smile. Last but not least the beach guy proactively got us towels; set up the beach table and open the umbrella. Everyone was great. Keep it up guys!

everything was great and exceeded our expectations. The staff was very polite and helpful. The atmosphere is breathtaking , the whole team work for your comfort and your happiness for unforgettable trip . The facilities, Pool , the service and the staff, the food, the view from our room looking at the lake , Great private beach despite it far about 3 minutes by car form the hotel , amazing access to la femme beach . It was a superb experience and we will definitely come back. A big greet to all the employees of the hotel especially Mr. Abdalla in the reception , he was amazing person ! He is truly the best hospitality person ever and knows how to make his guests feel welcome and taken care of. In fact , All the staff at the hotel did their best to for our needs at all times. I understood from the smiles in their eyes that they do their work with great love. The overall the experience was Luxurious and comfy and Highly recommended Bravo to Le royal marina hotel team.

    The location was amazing with a clean beach and good facilities provided, with multiple large clean swimming pools and a great view of the whole resort. The hotel itself has multiple restaurants and coffee shops and activities and a stage with shows nightly daily and a cinema, you really don't need to leave the resort at all, everything you need for entertainment and food is available at your hands. The staff was friendly and helpful and kept in daily contact with us to make sure our stay was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The apartment itself was modern and a great stay for my family with great air conditioning and quality bedding. They provide the latest pre-recorded movies to watch from the apartment TV itself.

    Just a wonderful hotel with a high level of service. We really enjoyed relaxing there. Everything is very clean, beautiful and well-maintained territory. Attentive and pleasant staff. Beautiful beach, clear sea. An incredible variety of food! Everything is very tasty! We definitely want to come back and didn't want to leave the hotel at all. I highly recommend it!

    Only the manager speaks English, it was then hard to communicate my needs with the other crew members of the hotel but I do speak a little and understand so I kind of made it ! And well, they were adorable. I think it is the most important. And they upgraded me for free in a beautiful bedroom with a magnificent front beach view.

    The worst place I’ve ever been to in my life.

    The worst place I’ve ever been to in my life. They humiliate you just to book a restaurant or go to the beach, with strange rules: entry is only allowed for couples, and for couples the woman must not be veiled. It’s extremely expensive, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to even consider going there.

    The town itself isn’t geared for tourists as there are no restaurants that cater for you if you don’t speak Arabic. If you are happy to stay in your hotel to eat then you’ll be fine. We were there for 3 nights having travelled from the desert in Siwa & it was a great place to rest for a few days before heading back to Cairo & our flight home.

    It’s place for kids to spend time on swimming, swimming pool safe and good but it’s not good place for tourist , entertainment is poor and nothing around the hotel , food is not good , we can not swim in the sea because waves was very strong

    The chalet were clean and the terrace lake view was amazing. There are 3 beaches, the front of the resort is good but we enjoyed Sidi AbdElrhman beach. The cafeteria food was delicious and cheap. Owner was friendly and very welcoming. You must have a car to go to the 3 beaches.

    Room was not clean they delayed the check in drain was blocked my wife was poisoned in BHAAR restaurant first day breakfast they mistaken the egg for my son as he is allergic not enough towels in the swimming pool we had to wait for half hour concierge service is terrible

    Was the best surprise in our trip to Egypt. Marsa Matruh has two of the best beaches we ever saw in our lives: Cleopatra and Agiba. For sure we will be back. We loved also the Museum of Marsa Matruh. There is a McDonald's just in front of the beach, so you can eat your "big mac" or an ice cream with an amazing view!!! The people of the city are not very used to meet strangers in my opinion, it seems that differently of Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada, Marsa Matruh is more focused for Egyptian tourism instead of foreigners, so not everybody speaks English there. Prices are cheaper than in other cities of Egypt. We had a taxi driver that became our friend even we only could talk using Google Translate. Very warm personality and we booked him to guide us in all the beaches in a day trip. We can't wait to return to those amazingly beautiful and crystal clear beaches!!!

    Siwa stands out for its kind and respectful locals, a refreshing change from other parts of Egypt. The overnight journey from Cairo is long, but the stunning salt lakes made it absolutely worth it. Plus, Shali Fortress was a beauty!

    It is not a city you can visit as a tourist.

    It is not a city you can visit as a tourist. You need to book in a resort which you may leave once during your stay to have a dinner in one of the bedouin restaurants in the area. If you’re not going for business make sure to pick a resort with all facilities you might need.
