We just loved the peace and quiet of this hotel and town. Our room was everything we could have wished for, clean, comfortable and lovely views from the terrace. The bed was so comfortable too. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. We opted for breakfast after previous reviews and have to say, not disappointed at all. Alfonso is the perfect host and to have the service at the table is something we haven't experienced in any other place! Parking so easy across the road. Would we go back? Yes for sure!!!!

We loved this hotel, and seriously would be happy to live there! I can't say enough good about it, this is just the kind of place we love - helpful, clean, efficient and right on the beach. All the conveniences but an electric kettle for the room, and I know that hotels that want to sell you breakfast just don't give you a kettle. We did have a small fridge, and they even give beach towels for no charge (if you use the same one for 3 days or more). The hotel reserves a few rows of sun loungers for hotel guests, though this is for a small daily charge. The ladies in reception helped us with everything from renting a car for our trip to Caminito del Rey to knowing where to shop for local wines, where to eat decent Asian food, and taking care of housekeeping issues like a blocked shower drain. We had the absolute dream stay in Rincon Sol!

Our whole stay at Hitel Sibarys was great. Check in was easy, with very friendly, helpful staff, our room was lovely, very clean and fresh, with a really comfortable bed. Breakfasts were excellent, and the pool area was really nice. Next time in Nerja we will stay here for sure!

We had a great stay at Anoreta Suites. The staff was very kind and attentive, they called ahead to ensure we arrived before the 17:00 check-in deadline and were happy to wait for us if needed. The room was huge, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained, with an especially impressive shower. The location is very convenient, making it a perfect choice. I would definitely return.

    The accommodation met everything we needed – clean, fragrant and fully equipped. Right after arrival we were delighted that the beach was literally around the corner – just go down, cross the road and we had our feet in the sand. 👣 A big plus for the private garage, since we had a rented car – no stress with parking, which is really appreciated in coastal towns. It was about 1 km uphill to the center, but the views from the top were worth it – Nerja is simply magical. 🌅 Overall, a very pleasant stay – an ideal place if you want to be a short distance from the sea and at the same time at a reasonable distance from the city. We recommend!

    Nice sized town with lovely beaches, a busy centre with plenty of options for shopping and food. The museum and caves are a must visit. The whole town is clean and well looked after. Good walking options for people and plenty of safe crossing points, A lot of mopeds so car drivers have to be alert. People were friendly and the the whole town had a very relaxed atmosphere

    The price is good for the location and for what you get. But there is some noise because the rooms are far, far from sound proof. And the breakfast should be skipped since it is pointless. But for the location and price, this is a good choice.

    geschreven:  Our stay in this house was unfortunately very disappointing: On arrival we were given the wrong address, which caused us to arrive late at the wrong location. The access road to the house is a very narrow mountain road along a rock wall and valley: dangerous if you meet an oncoming car – in that case you either have to drive backwards or hope the other driver takes action. The house is built right against the neighbor’s property. Just 5 meters away there is a chicken coop with a rooster that starts crowing loudly from 6 a.m. The smell from the chickens is constant and very unpleasant. The swimming pool was ice cold and unusable. The bedrooms are not suitable for adults: the “master bedroom” has a very small bed (1.40 m wide and only 1.80 m long), while the second room has two loft beds that are only suitable for children. Every Saturday, a “pool boy” shows up unannounced and walks straight into the garden, which completely takes away your sense of privacy. Outdoor furniture and cushions were broken and worn out. To make matters worse, the host tried to charge us extra electricity costs afterwards (although this was not agreed upon) and even manipulated WhatsApp messages with meter readings as so-called proof. This felt highly unreliable. For those expecting a sunny holiday: the house is located higher up in the mountains, where there is often cloud cover. Meanwhile, just 15 km away in Nerja, the sun is shining. We therefore definitely cannot recommend this house.

    It is a cozy town situated along the beach.

    It is a cozy town situated along the beach. Clean, friendly, with nice restaurants. The sand on the beach is dark, the water was too cold for me. There is a splendid hiking route along the see cliffs, and a cave which is totally worth of visiting. You can get to Malaga by bus, it takes around 30 minutes.

    In my opinion this resort is perfect for anyone who wants a relaxing holiday. There are enough bars and restaurants open out of season. It's a clean resort with great transport links to the surrounding area and if you have a car it is a beautiful part of the region to explore the authentic Andalucuia.

    Velez Malaga is a really nice town with a mix of both the old part and new. It has lots of little cobbled back streets with very traditional little Spanish bars and restaurants scattered around, although as it's not your typical tourist destination be prepared for many bars not to open on certain days, although when you can sample them you may be pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost compared to your typical Costa! In addition, it's literally next door to the seaside resort of Torres del Mar, so if you fancy a swim in the sea, it's just a 5 minute drive. There is also a decent golf course (Baviera) a short 15 min drive away.

    Scruffy ugly area. Dreadful beach akin to the sand coming from a construction site...No sea front bars and limited bars and restaurants (we found two) within a 20 minute walking radius of our hotel. This should never be described as a "tourist" spot. Somewhere to recommend people you do not like..

    The village is beautiful and so well looked after. The spirit of the people is wonderful and everyone was friendly. Lots of lovely restaurants. The Feria de Competa was fantastic. Not for the infirm as it has lots of hills

    Easy access seaside area, lovely beach promenade runs for miles with lots of choices of restaurants. It has a homely feel to it, away from the wild and bling, it’s a quality offering for very good value.

    If you are looking for a peaceful town to holiday in that is still only a 40-minute drive away from the heart of Malaga city centre, then Benajarafe is the place! It has a lovely long beach with many beach clubs that provide great food and a sea view.
