The hotel is extremely well renovated, with attention for details. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The food at the restaurant is great too, just like breakfast. The location is marvelous, just slightly off the beaten path with a bumpy road leading down to the river front.

What’s an amazing find - we were travelling in December so it was very quiet but it really is an amazing location. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway the gentleman on reception was very helpful and the food we had for supper the one night we stayed was a very good quality in particular the spa ladies were very helpful in fitting in last minute a massage after a long drive.

Rachel and Neil are absolutely charming hosts, helpful and extremely friendly. The apartment is brand new, with excellent view, fully equipped modern kitchen and all new furniture. Mazaleon is a beautiful ancient village with a beautiful center, and the nearby river offers wonderful romantic bathing spots in nature as well as nature watching opportunities

Gorgeous, well-preserved hillside town worth exploring.

Gorgeous, well-preserved hillside town worth exploring. So few tourists, we couldn't believe it! We explored the castle and cathedral and were the only people there most of the time! Plenty of historical places, surrounding towns to visit, not to mention the natural beauty and outdoor adventure.

The town can be over full in August so try to plan for...

The town can be over full in August so try to plan for earlier or later in the year. The walks are still delightful in August and not too busy. It is probably best to shop in Valderrobres before you get to Beceite or bring food or pre book restaurants. Wonderful landscapes and memories to be made here.

Beautiful country village, narrow streets, stone buildings,...

Beautiful country village, narrow streets, stone buildings, exceptionally clean. Perfect for walkers and dog owners and those seeking a real Spanish experience. The locals were very friendly and welcoming. We ate at the hotel which had a good choice on the menu. The breakfast presented by Jose was an absolute feast.
