- From US$281.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,301 reviewsI had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel, and it was truly a magical experience from start to finish. Nestled right in front of Loch Ness, the views were nothing short of spectacular… waking up to that scenery was like a dream 🩷 The location is unbeatable, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the warmth and care of the incredible staff. They were not only professional, but genuinely sweet and thoughtful. It happened to be my birthday during the stay, and they went above and beyond to make me feel special. It was the kind of thoughtful service you never forget. The hotel itself has a lovely leisure vibe, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the beauty of the Highlands. We did a lovely cruise through the Loch Ness and it was out of this world! The restaurant was fantastic, with delicious food and cozy ambiance… every meal felt like a treat but those mushrooms as starters are to dying for!!! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking views, amazing food, and top-notch service, I wholeheartedly recommend the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel. It was a birthday to remember, and I can’t wait to come back! Thank you all that made my experience special! 🫶🏻 Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹 and England 🏴Guest review byCatarinaPortugal
- From US$127.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,311 reviewsOur stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect! Everything was brand new, and the quality of the doors and furniture was excellent. The shower featured the latest technology, and the tap had changing-color water, which made our children incredibly happy. The location was ideal—just a 5 to 10-minute walk to the restaurants, yet situated in a quiet area, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful and restful night. The room had everything we needed, and we especially loved the Scottish curtains and carpet, which truly made us feel the spirit of Scotland and Loch Ness. A special mention to the host, who was incredibly kind and helpful. I had many questions, and he took the time to assist me with everything. Highly recommended—both the hotel and the host! Would definitely stay again!Guest review byirynaUkraine
- From US$175.14 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 532 reviewsIt's not a hotel or B&B. It's a small Castle with historical style! :-) Not easy to find - SAT Nav lead us to a wrong location - downhill of the lodge. If your Sat Nav also make such mistake - try to find nearest way up to hill, and the lodge will locate on the road end. Host is very nice, in room breakfast include many choice - enough for us (2 adults). Top highlight is their huge and beautiful living room, especially in night. I took many pictures after get permission of host. In the morning, you can enjoy the golden shine and fog on lake, very beautiful view.Guest review byPeng

They make you feel like the lord in the castle. Great breakfast, very nice whisky selection and amazing sitting rooms to have a read, a drink or an afternoon tea near the fireplace. Great starting point to explore Loch Ness and surroundings (Glen Affric, Culloden, Inverness, Urquhart castle…),Guest review byBenoîtLuxembourg

Lovely little shops to walk in and out of.
Lovely little shops to walk in and out of. You get to watch the loch in action with the four levels the boats have to go through to get to the next section. This is very interesting and a good place to watch this. There are many walks you can do along the Loch which are very picturesque.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is located just outside the village. The village itself is very pleasant with a beautiful village green which had a market on it the day we left. The Fiddlers Restaurant on the village green was a great place to eat, drink and watch the world go by. Urquhart Castle is well worth visiting with a great visitor centre and Loch Ness as a splendid backdrop to the stunning castle remains.Guest review byStephenHong Kong - 8.0

It is a cute little village tucked away from the hustle and bustle from the more touristy areas in the Loch Ness area. Waterfalls and the Loch are easy walks, and it’s a short drive to Urquhart Castle and other sites. There are not a lot of places to dine, so the Glen Mariston is a good choice. Reservations will be needed.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0
The whole experience at this place was excellent.
The whole experience at this place was excellent. The scenery was to die for. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and other travellers were lovely to meet. The most comfortable bed and pillows we have stayed in throughout our entire trip. The manager is an exceptional helpful, lovely person, would highly recommend this facility to travellers. It’s a little hard to find and the road is not the best but well worth the effort 😀Guest review byToniAustralia - 10.0

Wonderful venue with views that literally take your breath away. The dining experience is restaurant quality. Hosts are superb, it’s clear their joy is your joy. Property is stunning, interior design you think but it’s just the imagination of Karla & Karl and it so works.Guest review bystuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beautiful scenery. Brilliant trips on the Loch Ness Cruises. Plenty of places to visit. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, gift shops. Fascinating watching the boats going up and down the series of locks. It certainly was not a disappointment.Guest review byMccormack - 10.0

This is from previous experience as the hotel I stayed in was some distance outside. Drumnadrochit is a lovely little town and well worth stopping over for a night on your travels. The people are friendly and helpful and I have visited many times over the years and always found it pleasant.Guest review byDaveUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lots of interesting things even though it was onky a small village. Loved our stay at Craig na Dav, a lovely B&B. Would highly recommend it. Comfortable accommodation with a great choice of breakfast. The sisters who run the place were really nice and made us so welcome,Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 10.0

An especially beautiful section of Loch Ness with stunning views, and walking the Falls of Foyers was reason alone enough to visit. The Waterfall Cafe is a very welcome stop, and I recommend the cheese and haggis toasties when you're there.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom
