The location and views over Loch Ness is amazing. The staff was exceptional and helpful. Its close proximity to Inverness makes it a great little gem in the Scottish country side and we will definitely be back.

The room was so cute and looked out over the canal and Loch Ness, and it was conveniently located over a cafe which we ate a good breakfast at. It also had its own off street parking so we didn’t have to worry about parking tickets.

Room was clean and the view was great! I loved the sink in the room. Bed was a bit too soft for me, but comfortable. It was odd sharing a bathroom, but it was just my friend and I in the 2 rooms so it worked out great!! I liked that the shower was separate from the toilet. And having sinks in the rooms made the separate bathroom part much easier. The owner was wonderful and friendly and her cats were adorable. We also really enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant! Excellent food at a reasonable price!

It was MAGICAL!! Sooo beautiful and cozy that I wished we had more time to extend our stay. The weather was perfect, the frost and the sound of nature was aesthetically pleasing. I can’t believe that I encountered a dear while walking from my hut towards the lodge! it was truly a beautiful experience. The land owner is super sweet as well and very helpful. 100% recommended.

Lovely little shops to walk in and out of.

Lovely little shops to walk in and out of. You get to watch the loch in action with the four levels the boats have to go through to get to the next section. This is very interesting and a good place to watch this. There are many walks you can do along the Loch which are very picturesque.

It is a cute little village tucked away from the hustle and bustle from the more touristy areas in the Loch Ness area. Waterfalls and the Loch are easy walks, and it’s a short drive to Urquhart Castle and other sites. There are not a lot of places to dine, so the Glen Mariston is a good choice. Reservations will be needed.

Everything about Foyer's was wonderful!

Everything about Foyer's was wonderful! Our hosts were lovely! We very much appreciated the lovely meals which given the more remote location was very welcome. Additionally my partner and I require gluten free and plant based meals which they easily and deliciously accommodated! Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable with the most amazing view of Loch Ness from the windows. Our host suggested a walk to the falls which was enchanting and such a good way to start our day prior to driving to the Isle of Skye. Our stay was a 10/10!!

Wonderful venue with views that literally take your breath away. The dining experience is restaurant quality. Hosts are superb, it’s clear their joy is your joy. Property is stunning, interior design you think but it’s just the imagination of Karla & Karl and it so works.

Beautiful scenery. Brilliant trips on the Loch Ness Cruises. Plenty of places to visit. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, gift shops. Fascinating watching the boats going up and down the series of locks. It certainly was not a disappointment.

Drumnadrochit is a lovely village next to Loch ness, there are a few village shops and a couple of pubs. You can visit the Loch ness Centre, which tells you the history of the famous Loch ness Monster. I would also recommend booking a boat tour with Loch Ness Cruises in the Village. They take you out on the Loch with their boat the Nessy Hunter, which is very good. You also have Urquhart Castle down the road, I'd recommend getting the 919 bus, this will collect you from the bus stop by the Village green and take you straight to the castle. The Loch ness Inn is a good place for food or drink and does some lovely food. You also have access to some good woodland walks too.

we only had chance to drive through, so can't really comment. Farigaig where the accommodation was is approx 50 yards on. We were also on a very quiet road which easily took us thte the Tomatin distillery, our first stop the next day, so convenient, and we got to see something of Loch Ness en route.
