Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and we were very happy with the facilities. The location was super convenient, and we could walk everywhere with ease. Liverpool has so much to offer with its diversity.
Liverpool has so much to offer with its diversity. Great shops, concerts, museums, the docks, boat trips and much much more. The people are friendly and helpful. Good choice of restaurants and bars to suit everyone. Best way to get around Liverpool is to walk (you discover so much more) alternatively, hop on an open top bus which will take you on a tour around the city. A visit to the Christmas markets is fun, filled with goodies for the kids, food halls, fair ground and tasting stands of different alcohol, cheeses, jams etc taste before you buy - perfect.Guest review byWin - 8.0

We’d come for the Firework Festival before and it was sad to see quite a few boarded shops and pubs that had been open on previous occasions The pier being closed is a great disappointment But Wheatherspoons is still amazing value for food and drinks👌 The Lakeside is lovely and the Marina Plus right by the Waterfront Hotel the little area where they usually have a singer at this time of year was a disappointment also as it wasn’t on Saturday 27th and closed before 6pm on 28th I would only come when the Firework Festival is on.Guest review byTomUnited Kingdom - 10.0

John Lennon airport is a compact airport without the stress of a huge airport. There is a W. H. Smith and a coffee shop in departures open from 3.15 a.m. for early flights and clearly marked check in desks.Guest review byPamUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Got there on the Sunday evening to find that the TV was not connected, tried to connect and the TV nearly fell off the brackets supporting it. Contacted the number given and was told someone would ring me back still waiting. Can back on the Monday to find not only was the TV not working I also had no electricity. Phoned again and again told someone would connect me (Still waiting of that call as well). Had to throw out the food I had brought and could not even have a shower. Would not use again if the last place in St HelensGuest review byGarryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We stayed at Knowsley as it was much more cost effective than 2 nights in similar accommodation in Liverpool. We were down for the Everton Man City game. Unfortunately neither of us drive and as buses don't Service the hotel at the weekend meant we had to rely on taxis. For anyone who drives the location is not a problem though. Visited a few of the local hostelries. Copperpot, Derby Arms and Vikings Landing all were very friendly places with good service. Prices for drinks are favourable compared to other cities.Guest review byBryanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Heswall is a friendly little town, with a good selection of small shops and eateries. Please do visit the book shop! From the outside it looks like any other shop, but step inside and you will be bowled over with what's on offer, which even includes a cafe. Heswall offers easy access to other destinations on The Wirrall, including the delightful West Kirby. It is a great spot to explore places further afield, such as North Wales, Chester and Liverpool.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 4.0

Prescot is amazing if you are going for the new playhouse experience, otherwise it does not have a lot to recommend it....we had an ok meal at Pinion, service very slow, and the meals were not quite right as ordered...it's about half an hour by train from Liverpool....Guest review byJudithUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Very clean . Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable.
Very clean . Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable. Not very warm especially dining room had to eat evening meal with coats on . Evening bar staff refused us a cup of coffee having already had one and then sent another person to their room to make one in their room and bring it back to their company sitting in the bar . And they were elderly. So not very good . Bar could of stayed open a little longer .... admittedly it was about 10.30pm but when you have been out and you need a nightcap in hotel even if just a cuppa not good .Guest review byMichelle
