- From US$187.27 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,474 reviewsThe view of the sea, early in the morning, sitting in the window was incredible. So relaxing, area was quiet, room was spacious, breakfast was lovely. Fresh flowers in the room were a nice touch. Plus the made the bed is made every day and gave fresh towels every day, in the spirit of sustainability, I haven’t seen that in a hotel in quite a while.Guest review byYvonneNetherlands

Plenty of things/activities to do, lots of choice of food eating places and agood variety of shops. Loved the promenade to walk on and being next to the sea. Attractive sea front and bay. Wildwood Italian restaurant was excellent. Really enjoyed theTram ride up and down the Orme and little train journey round the Orme. Previously have gone on the City bus tour around Llandudno which was great. We found the WW2 museum fascinating and very interesting.Guest review byJacquelineUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Loved Betws-y-coed! Such a pretty place.
Loved Betws-y-coed! Such a pretty place. Quite small but lots of independent, quality shops. Nice places to eat and drink throughout the day and the evening and it felt very safe to walk around after dark. Road network is good, we had no problems finding parking spaces (our accommodation had no on-site parking), some was free on street parking but when we had to resort to designated car parks, they weren’t extortionate which was a nice surprise. Would quite happy return there againGuest review byJoanneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Everything about Conwy is so beautiful , including where we stayed . The only down side is finding a good place to eat in the evening , a lot of the places we visited from our stay in march 2025 and more recently sept 2025. Not very good quality of food , small portions for a very high price , one of our best meals was actual in a lovely bistro , after visiting snowdon .Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Beautiful location. Stunning views in all directions.
Beautiful location. Stunning views in all directions. Easy to walk into town and stroll along the River Dee. And a few minutes drive away you have endless hiking options up on the hills. Really beautiful place to walk. We went for a wedding, but would have liked to have had a few extra days to explore the countryside more.Guest review bySerenaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
You can never have too long in Llanberis area!
You can never have too long in Llanberis area! The mountains & lakes are stunning, and there is so much else to explore too. Snowdonia has a magical quality to it that makes it so special. Llanberis is also a great base from which to explore outlying places e.g. during my trip, as well as completing my main goals of climbing Snowdon and Tryfan, I took daytrips from Llanberis to Caernarfon and Anglesey on one day and Llandudno & Conwy on the other, visiting castles, National Trust properties and beaches on teh way. The various driving routes to and from these places back to Llanberis were a joy in themselves. The nearby Pen-y-Gwryd hotel is so interesting, steeped in mountaineering / Everest history - although it was lovely to have the place almost to myself to look around, it is a shame it is not promoted a bit more as a place to visit for a cup of tea / place to stay.Guest review bySerenaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A lovely town with plenty of pubs and restaurants.
A lovely town with plenty of pubs and restaurants. The beach is lovely and there was a sauna on the beach too! 3 places I would highly recommend: 1. Bistro Bermo for amazing food. You will need to book as it's only small. 2. Dylan's for fabulous cakes, savouries & coffee 3. Pieces for Places for gifts, homewares and furniture. There was a small market on Sunday and I think there is one on another day too. Plenty of choice of shops. I would also recommend a walk across the bridge.Guest review byLindsey - 6.0
A small, compact city that's a little run-down and in need...
A small, compact city that's a little run-down and in need of some government cash to bring more people in. We've never been in such a quiet city centre on a Saturday night; plenty of pubs, not enough people! So many Turkish barbers, so few decent restaurants...and no hotels! Plenty of take-out eateries, but that's not what tourists need! Lovely setting, Welsh government: you're missing out on tourism in Bangor, so splash the cash and glam it up...decent restaurants, a couple of hotels and a modern bar or two. The city should be very grateful for the Black Bull, JD Wetherspoon's, the only busy pub in town!Guest review byAnnetteUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Good base for the area.
Good base for the area. Both FFestiniog and Welsh Highland narrow gauge railways stop in the town. Portmeiron 5 min drive. Harlech just a bit further. Easy to go sightsee Keith Brymer Jones (Pottery Throwdown) chapel conversion nearby, as on TV seriesGuest review byMagorUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We saw the outside stadium (had no time for a tour of that facility), bought some Wrexham football club souvenirs downtown at a bigger store than is in the stadium, and enjoyed a pint and lively conversation in The Turf pub. Met a fellow who took us downtown and did an impromptu tour of Wrexham! He was knowledgeable and good fun! Getting around is easy via walking.Guest review byLindaCanada - 4.0
Holyhead itself isn't a great place.
Holyhead itself isn't a great place. Lots of empty and scruffy building in the town centre, although the harbour area out the other side is nice with the maritime museum. The only real highlight of the town centre are the remains of the Roman fort. The surrounding area including Treaddur Bay is much better for a visit. My evening trip to South Stack was really good, including a surprise historic settlement site across the road from the car park.Guest review byMatthewUnited Kingdom
