- From US$154.93 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.0Good - What previous guests thought, 1,967 reviewsIt was a short stay after a long day, but we got the comfort we needed. We got a big room with a big toilet. Both were very spacious. The bed was comfortable and we had no issues with it. The breakfast was filling and had tasty croissants. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel within walking distance. There's parking as well, but limited slots. The staff was friendly. Checking in and checking out were very smooth.Guest review byHemikaSweden
- From US$220.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 865 reviewsStunning views of the lake, and we had every comfort we needed at this place ! Although we were hit by storm Floris, the multiple rainbows that appeared over the lakes the next day more than made up for it ! Convenient place to explore the beautiful Isle of Skye, and the Glenfinnan viaduct of course 😍Guest review byAlexandreFrance

Only had a day there but went on a boat trip in the morning. Nice little shopping centre and the church was worth a visit. Lots of shops, pubs and eating places. Had a very nice dinner at Crannog restaurant. We were too late to see the Museum as it was just shutting at 4.00 pm.Guest review byAnitaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great place to take a break when you are visiting the Highlands and Islands! Mallaig is a port town and a gateway to do many other places. The accommodation at An Bothan was excellent. Home from home with so many special touches from the owners to make the stay even more comfortable. We would highly recommend it if you are looking for a short or longer stay in Mallaig.Guest review byJayneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The B and B is a short distance from the train station but CJ kindly picked us up. Dinner at the Arisaig pub was fabulous and a nice walk home after. We booked a taxi to Mallaig which was great and we caught the ferry to Knoydart and had lunch at the Old Forge…delicious, a lovely day out.Guest review byJanAustralia - 10.0
The super helpful staff made us feel very welcome.
The super helpful staff made us feel very welcome. They had the knack of knowing when we needed help. we always felt the staff had time for us - as it should be, There is no lift and as 'older', to put it mildly, visitors, the climb to our room on the third floor was a bit like climbing Ben Nevis and the descent was even more difficult with our dodgy knees. We had chosen a sea view room and it turned out these are on the higher floors. The staff could not have been more helpful, short of carrying us up and down on their backs, and made sure we knew they would carry things up and down for us.Guest review byRobertaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Very convenient for getting out to the highlands, a bit of a walk from Fort William town but walking is what you go there for, Ben Nevis is about a mile from Inverlochy and thats what counts,,, Try the Locky pub for good pub grub, massive platefuls and good wine, at reasonable prices,Guest review bySTEPHENUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The “Cabin food stop”for breakfast was exceptional .on the main drag. It’s a steel container off the roadside. Great value. Little night life but Fort William is only 3 miles away. You can see the Hogwarts express ( the Jacobite steam train ),up close in several spots ,especially the entrance bridge at loch linne holiday park ,where it passes under it. Corpach is really a stop off point for your trip.Guest review byGordonUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Overall the house was fine but pity about state of property next door - quite offputting when first arriving. House relatively clean but could have been better. Rooms were a good size. Two adults felt the mattresses should be replaced. It would not take much TLC to lift the property - e.g. some painting, fixing gutter, improve back garden, fix bathroom tap, better cutlery, more informed Visitor pack. Overall, think it is best suited for climbers, walkers.Guest review byMacGregor - 10.0

We did wish that we could have stayed longer in Banavie and we would certainly come back to explore more of the area especially if visiting Ben Nevis. Neptune's staircase was an unexpected pleasure and it was so picturesque. We viewed this from 'The Moorings hotel' where we also had a lovely meal. Will definitely return.Guest review byLouise - 10.0

Our visit was to walk Ben Nevis and we managed to do this. Short taxi drive to the start. Great restaurants. We went to the restaurant above the fish and chip shop, Indian and the Tavern restaurant. Also the sports bar was handy to watch the football.Guest review byPaul - 8.0

Small town with some good restaurants but limited entertainment. Worth a couple of nights or longer if using it as a base. Try The Bakehouse and The Crab and Creel. Don't park for more than an hour outside the Co-OpGuest review byClareUnited Kingdom
