With all that being said, it was very quiet and calm in the room and the area was very peaceful. The staff are absolutely incredible and will go above and beyond for any of your needs. We had been traveling for quite a few weeks at this point and they kindly let us use their washing machines. The room itself had very high ceilings, large windows and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was a typical size for europe (no bathtub or ventilation). The AC was strong and the wifi worked very well. It is also worth mentioning that there is a rooftop terrace to dry out bathing suites & towels as well as to have meals. I was last on the island in 1997 and although it is much more commercial now, it is still charming. There are no cars, you walk or take a small boat to get between the towns. Charming restaurants and rock beaches - there is good food and drink to be found at reasonable prices. We had a stop over in Hydra for a few days and enjoyed it. Recommend a harbour view, it is pricey, but so are other apartments. We did not venture from the Hydra town, nor did we go swimming; however, if you do, a longer stay would be beneficial.Guest review byAnneLuxembourg
