- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 730 reviewsExcelent location, very close from the port ( less than 50.m on a flat way - just a very short walk 1 minute from the landind area tio the hotel door). The room was cosy, very clean (evry day cleaning and changing towels) and it had a large beautiful private terrace with a lot of flowers in large red pots and with a retractable canopy.. The staf was very kind and helpfull - we could let our luggage after we have checked out until we have decided to get the boat back to the mainland.. We will be very happy to return there.Guest review byRemusRomania
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 110 reviewsThe location was lovely, quiet and remote. The property was picturesque and tidy. We loved the beach area with the sun-beds and umbrellas. The restaurant was really good; the included breakfast was wonderful! The staff were friendly and very helpful, transporting our bags and making reservations for us. The private, complimentary ferry was an amazing perk. I wish we could have booked one of the tours on the larger boat, but we just didn’t have time. Next time!Guest review byKattieUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 135 reviewsWe fell in love with the island and this charming boutique hotel. The view from the bed in the Junior Suite was insanely beautiful. The staff, especially the hostesses, was very friendly and helpful (extra grateful for the recommendations and care of Dafni). The breakfast was fine! The mattresses are hard, we liked it, but it comes to preference.Guest review byJesperBelgium

The island is very touristy.
The island is very touristy. The tourists are concentrated in a limited area. There seem to be more tourists than Greeks. The Greeks servicing the tourists seemed to be overwhelmed and many did not appear to be friendly.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Mandraki was a hidden gem of a place, only a 20-minute walk along the coast from Hydra Town, but away from all the hustle and bustle and with its own little beach and taverna - everything you could possibly need for a deeply relaxing holiday.Guest review byTanyaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I was last on the island in 1997 and although it is much more commercial now, it is still charming. There are no cars, you walk or take a small boat to get between the towns. Charming restaurants and rock beaches - there is good food and drink to be found at reasonable prices. Note that I visited in October, I assume that this island is beyond capacity in the summer.Guest review byRobertCanada - 10.0

We had a stop over in Hydra for a few days and enjoyed it. Recommend a harbour view, it is pricey, but so are other apartments. We did not venture from the Hydra town, nor did we go swimming; however, if you do, a longer stay would be beneficial.Guest review byAnneLuxembourg
