FAQs about hotels on Milos
The Island of Lovers
Known as the island of lovers because of the statue of Aphrodite (“Venus of Milo”), which is exhibited in the Louvre Museum of Paris, Milos is very unique thanks to its spectacular rock structures. This romantic destination is a great choice for honeymooners.
Rich in history, Milos was one of the earliest civilisations of the Cyclades islands. Built on a hill overlooking the sea, the picturesque town of Plaka is the island’s capital. Adamas is the main port and offers a selection of tourist facilities and accommodation.
Visit the small fishing village of Pollonia and relax in one of the traditional taverns by the waterfront. Booking.com will help you find a nice hotel, guest house or apartment in the area. Firopotamos is a graphic small village with crystal clear blue waters and little fishermen houses.
Milos has some of the most famous Greek beaches like the sandy beach of Tsigrado and the beautiful organised beach of Agia Kiriaki. The volcanic beach of Sarakiniko is the most photographed one, while the Paleochori is a popular touristic resort with watersports facilities.
A must-do option is having a tour of the island by boat. The island has stunning beaches with turquoise waters and geological forms that are not accessible by car.

- From US$90.40 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 234 reviewsWonderful stay! I stayed here for a few days and the room was really comfortable, wonderful natural light and ventilation, serene view, soft bed, great water pressure, good wifi, very clean, a nice garden outside with the sweetest kittens and a nice kitchen for cooking as well. Really efficient location 5 minutes from the center on a quiet street near the bus station, water front restruants and everything you can need. It was nice coming back to the apartment and seeing candles being lit around the property, the place has ambiance and the host puts in a lot of effort to make you feel welcomed and enjoy your time in Milos. Petros was extremely helpful and great hospitality! Thank you for a great stay!Guest review byNaariPuerto Rico
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.9Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 99 reviewsSuper confortable suite, very nice and sober decoration! The suite was very well cleaned everyday! For breakfast, we add the fridge refilled also everyday with all necessary and varied items and more. Amazing view, nice jacuzzi and the location is about 3 min from the city center by car. It's also not far walking, but you'll have to walk in the road, no sidewalk available, so a car is recommended. In fact, with a car you can go everywhere in the island from here in not more than 20 minutes in average. I already recommended this stay to many of my friends and family and if I ever return to Milos I'm sure I'll stay there again!Guest review byPedroSwitzerland

Already counting the days until we're back . Andreas , same time next year! Thank so much for everythingGuest review bytripouGreece
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 341 reviewsThe location is wonderful, a tourist spot itself. You can see 2 windmills from the studios. The host is a lovely, amazing lady. Since we didn't have car or ATV booked, she drove us to places for an additional charge but it worked out cheaper than taxis. I would stay here again.Guest review byneelimaIreland

This island is part of the Cyclades however; it has it's own distinct beauty. In order to really see Milos and all of it's gorgeous beaches, rock formations, history, villages, etc., you definitely need transportation. The beauty of the island requires discovery. I highly recommend renting an ATV or buggy to really explore the island at your leisure. Staying in one of the major "Chora's" is also recommended so that in the evening, you can walk to all the shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Milos is stunning and worth visiting!Guest review byELLIECanada - 10.0
Pollonia is lovely.
Pollonia is lovely. Beautiful restaurants on the beach (Although quite pricy ) You should walk and explore the area. There are pretty coves and cliffs to see. There are busses from Pollonia to other parts of the island. However, you have to take the bus to Adamas first as Adamas is the bus hub and all busses leave from there to other points of interest. But it is still workable if you are based in Pollonia and Pollonia is quieter than Adams. There is a lovely bakery in Pollonia too and we enjoyed the beachGuest review byBeverleySouth Africa - 10.0

Very quaint old town Lovely scenery Good buzzy vibe Good walks Easy to get to places of interest such as catacombs, amphitheater, Klima Good restaurants and shops - we particularly enjoyed meals at Kyra - a bit pricey but good food, wine and vibe. We also enjoyed drinks at Piazza Cadtello and Mine BarGuest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Milos, in general, is not a very big island so you can get...
Milos, in general, is not a very big island so you can get to a lot of it within 20 min drive. Most of the beaches we found are not organized (no lounge chairs and no umbrellas), which makes for beautiful beaches but not a lot of shade. Which means you need to bring those items with you if you want to relax on the beach when the sun is strong. Provatas is on the southern side of Milos and most beaches on this side of the island are off long dirt/sandy roads and are very popular, so you need to go early to park near the beach and have a car that can handle the steep dirt rocky roads. But again, bring something that can give you shade, we found the tourist maps were wrong with which beaches actually are organized. The beaches and rocks formation on Milos are absolutely gorgeous, you will love it! Personally, we preferred to stay out of the town in places like Provatas, to get away from all the crowds and traffic. Once you are out of the main towns, the crowds and traffic drop off quickly and you have a very quiet, peaceful stay.Guest review byPeterUnited States - 10.0
If you like quiet, peace, and seclusion, this is your spot.
If you like quiet, peace, and seclusion, this is your spot. It was a postcard moment at a truly wonderful venue. The Artemis Seaside Resort was the highlight, but the journey getting there, especially on an ATV, was amazing. The views are breathtaking and everyone we met was amazing. Don't leave Milos until you visit this area, it's worth the incredible drive!Guest review byPanosUnited States - 10.0
Mytakas beach is the perfect beach to relax daily.
Mytakas beach is the perfect beach to relax daily. We also visited Sarakiniko beach which was awesome as well as Fyriplaka beach, but it was always nice to come back to Mytakas beach for a quieter experience. We ate in Plaka, Klima, and Pollonia. We loved Astakas in Klima albeit the drive down was difficult on the narrow hilly road. Getting around Milos in general was very easy. We recommed going to Plaka early to find parking and walk around and shop before the dinner crowds arrive.Guest review byVictoriaUnited States - 8.0
Very beautiful beach.
Very beautiful beach. A nice long beach that is not too busy. The sea colour is lovely. There are large white stones along the edges that are very pretty, just hard on the feet. We had a lovely swim here. Some boat trips also leave from here. There is a pretty good restaurant on the beach front - just a little pricy.Guest review byBeverleySouth Africa - 10.0

Im sure instagram is responsible for the hype around Klima, and its totally understandable, so be prepared for it to be very busy in high season. But it really is beautiful, and if youre on Milos for a few days, its somewhere you definitely need to see.Guest review byEdwardUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Triovasalos is very conveniently located: provides easy access to the Hora (Plaka) and is central to the north-east part of the island. The central road provides a number of amenities (best souvlaki, excellent coffee shop, banks and a number of other shops). However, the central road (Karodromos) is quite busy and practically impossible to walk, since there are no pavements.Guest review byFragkiskos VellisUnited Kingdom
