FAQs about hotels in Milos
The Island of Lovers
Known as the island of lovers because of the statue of Aphrodite (“Venus of Milo”), which is exhibited in the Louvre Museum of Paris, Milos is very unique thanks to its spectacular rock structures. This romantic destination is a great choice for honeymooners.
Rich in history, Milos was one of the earliest civilisations of the Cyclades islands. Built on a hill overlooking the sea, the picturesque town of Plaka is the island’s capital. Adamas is the main port and offers a selection of tourist facilities and accommodation.
Visit the small fishing village of Pollonia and relax in one of the traditional taverns by the waterfront. Booking.com will help you find a nice hotel, guest house or apartment in the area. Firopotamos is a graphic small village with crystal clear blue waters and little fishermen houses.
Milos has some of the most famous Greek beaches like the sandy beach of Tsigrado and the beautiful organised beach of Agia Kiriaki. The volcanic beach of Sarakiniko is the most photographed one, while the Paleochori is a popular touristic resort with watersports facilities.
A must-do option is having a tour of the island by boat. The island has stunning beaches with turquoise waters and geological forms that are not accessible by car.

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 288 reviewsThe initial greeting was warm and friendly, they always went out of their way to be of help which was highly appreciated! The breakfast had a large variety of options that fit each individuals dietary needs, and they even gave us the option of a breakfast bowl to go when we had to leave early for our boat. The customer service was exemplary, I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful place! It was located at a great central location, within walking distance of the port! However, it was quiet at night with great sound instillation and it was beautifully decorated with a jacuzzi to relax in at the end of the night!Guest review byAgapiGreece
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 331 reviewsWe were given a very warm welcome and the best personal attention. The views are incredible of the sunset, sea and church. Our studio had everything needed for a 6 night stay, including cooking facilities and an outdoor patio. We had top notch daily housekeeping. The area is very quiet with an easy walk to everything. Our studio had a very spa inspired decor. We were treated to home baked cookies and cakes which made the whole experience special. The parking area was excellent and on the property. We felt very well taken care of and our hosts were very kind and friendly. Highly recommend.Guest review byPangCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 253 reviewsHawkstone is a true gem. The location is perfect — just outside of Andamantus, overlooking the bay with stunning sunsets. The place feels so welcoming and comfortable, and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. The beds are big and super comfortable, the shower is great, and the balcony view is just amazing. Everything about this stay was 11 out of 10. I’ll definitely be coming back — this will be my base for future trips to Milos!Guest review bymeravIsrael
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 50 reviewsCaptain Zeppos is an amazing place. The location, room decor, common area, but most of all the people; Michal, Sophie, Victoria and Sophia!!! They treat you like family. Victoria is an amazing bartender and overall wonderful young lady! We could not be happier with our stay. From the pickup at the airport to checkout and leaving the car at the port, they made everything so easy. If you are looking, stop! Just book Captain Zeppos. You will not be disappointed!!!Guest review byGregoryUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 341 reviewsA true moment of happiness in Milos: breathtaking sunrise views, a charmingly lit path perfect for evening strolls through the heart of Adamas, and exceptionally attentive staff. They managed to find us a rental car within 10 minutes—no small feat in the middle of August when cars are hard to come by! A special mention goes to the beautifully decorated spa, where the treatments are not only relaxing but thoughtfully tailored. We left wanting more!Guest review byGregoryCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 162 reviewsFacilities & staff went over, above and beyond….. the location of the property was a four minute walk to restaurants and shops, also the view from the hotel was amazing, the included breakfast is better than breakfasts we have purchased. We lost one day as our flight got cancelled and the staff helped us arrange anything and everything we needed, they even offered us to stay at the pool longer than check out due to the short stay.Guest review byDinaCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 516 reviewsEverything was amazing, from hotel to staff. Everyone was very polite and helpfull. Room was beautiful with amazing terrace and view. Breakfast buffet had a lot of different dishes and all of them were fresh. Root restaurant had lovely atmosphere and food. Aqua Loca also, very vibrant atmosphere and probably best beach bar on Milos.Guest review byAleksandarMontenegro

Loved this charming port town . Lovely restaurants & shops .
Loved this charming port town . Lovely restaurants & shops . It was quieter and pleasant stay but a bit too short . We were able to book tours and ATVs to explore this magical island . We would go back in a heartbeat.Guest review byCindyAustralia - 10.0
Pollonia is lovely.
Pollonia is lovely. Beautiful restaurants on the beach (Although quite pricy ) You should walk and explore the area. There are pretty coves and cliffs to see. There are busses from Pollonia to other parts of the island. However, you have to take the bus to Adamas first as Adamas is the bus hub and all busses leave from there to other points of interest. But it is still workable if you are based in Pollonia and Pollonia is quieter than Adams. There is a lovely bakery in Pollonia too and we enjoyed the beachGuest review byBeverleySouth Africa - 10.0
Very quaint old town Lovely scenery Good buzzy vibe
Very quaint old town Lovely scenery Good buzzy vibe Good walks Easy to get to places of interest such as catacombs, amphitheater, Klima Good restaurants and shops - we particularly enjoyed meals at Kyra - a bit pricey but good food, wine and vibe. We also enjoyed drinks at Piazza Cadtello and Mine BarGuest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
If you like quiet, peace, and seclusion, this is your spot.
If you like quiet, peace, and seclusion, this is your spot. It was a postcard moment at a truly wonderful venue. The Artemis Seaside Resort was the highlight, but the journey getting there, especially on an ATV, was amazing. The views are breathtaking and everyone we met was amazing. Don't leave Milos until you visit this area, it's worth the incredible drive!Guest review byPanosUnited States - 10.0
Milos, in general, is not a very big island so you can get...
Milos, in general, is not a very big island so you can get to a lot of it within 20 min drive. Most of the beaches we found are not organized (no lounge chairs and no umbrellas), which makes for beautiful beaches but not a lot of shade. Which means you need to bring those items with you if you want to relax on the beach when the sun is strong. Provatas is on the southern side of Milos and most beaches on this side of the island are off long dirt/sandy roads and are very popular, so you need to go early to park near the beach and have a car that can handle the steep dirt rocky roads. But again, bring something that can give you shade, we found the tourist maps were wrong with which beaches actually are organized. The beaches and rocks formation on Milos are absolutely gorgeous, you will love it! Personally, we preferred to stay out of the town in places like Provatas, to get away from all the crowds and traffic. Once you are out of the main towns, the crowds and traffic drop off quickly and you have a very quiet, peaceful stay.Guest review byPeterUnited States - 8.0
Very beautiful beach.
Very beautiful beach. A nice long beach that is not too busy. The sea colour is lovely. There are large white stones along the edges that are very pretty, just hard on the feet. We had a lovely swim here. Some boat trips also leave from here. There is a pretty good restaurant on the beach front - just a little pricy.Guest review byBeverleySouth Africa - 10.0

Im sure instagram is responsible for the hype around Klima, and its totally understandable, so be prepared for it to be very busy in high season. But it really is beautiful, and if youre on Milos for a few days, its somewhere you definitely need to see.Guest review byEdwardUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Mytakas beach is the perfect beach to relax daily.
Mytakas beach is the perfect beach to relax daily. We also visited Sarakiniko beach which was awesome as well as Fyriplaka beach, but it was always nice to come back to Mytakas beach for a quieter experience. We ate in Plaka, Klima, and Pollonia. We loved Astakas in Klima albeit the drive down was difficult on the narrow hilly road. Getting around Milos in general was very easy. We recommed going to Plaka early to find parking and walk around and shop before the dinner crowds arrive.Guest review byVictoriaUnited States - 10.0

You need a car to stay at Firopotamos. It’s a small village without any stores or restaurants. It offers a quiet picturesque location for stunning views and easy access to the water. The accommodation is rustic but the beauty of the area makes up for it!Guest review byJulie-annAustralia
