I recently had the pleasure of staying at Nautilux Hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The rooms were not only nice, but also incredibly well equipped. They had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that the hotel was even nicer in person than it appeared in the pictures. The attention to detail and the overall ambiance of the hotel were truly impressive. But what truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their warm smiles and genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. I also had the opportunity to try the room service menu, and I must say, the food was delicious. They had a great selection of tasty dishes, and the cocktails and drinks were also top-notch. The staff at the beach bar were quick to take orders and provided excellent service. And let's not forget about the breakfast buffet. There were so many choices that it was almost overwhelming. From savory to sweet, healthy to indulgent, there was something for everyone. It was a breakfast paradise. I would like to give a special thanks to Kristine, the hotel receptionist, and Christos, the room divisions manager. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable and enjoyable. Their professionalism and attention to detail were truly commendable. Overall, my experience at Nautilux Hotel was fantastic, and I can't wait to go back next year. If you're looking for a hotel that offers great rooms, delicious food, friendly staff, and a beautiful atmosphere, look no further. Nautilux Hotel has it all.

I loved the location. Honey is situated in the quieter part of town, further along the coast and closer to the smaller beaches—which I personally preferred over the larger, busier one in the other part of Bali. The apartment is a great option for anyone looking for a 2-room setup without booking two separate hotel rooms. There’s a separate kitchen and living area with a big sofa that can easily sleep two, plus a bedroom with a pretty large, comfy bed. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the appliances you’d need to cook a meal or prepare breakfast in the morning. (The only small critique I’d give is that I wish there were one more power outlet so you could run the toaster and coffee machine at the same time—but that’s really a minor detail.) There’s also a cute balcony with space to hang and dry your swimsuits while you sleep. But the absolute best part of our stay was, OF COURSE, the staff—especially the wonderful Eda. She pretty much runs everything at the hotel, keeps it spotless, manages the plants that would otherwise melt in the Bali heat, and still finds time to make every guest feel welcomed and cared for. A lot of the great memories from our stay are thanks to her specifically. We were traveling all the way from Ukraine and arrived super early—around 7 or 8 a.m.—which is well before check-in. We were completely exhausted, but Eda kindly checked us in early so we could rest and recover after the long trip. She also gave us tons of useful advice about the area: which restaurants are worth visiting (and which ones aren’t), how to snag the best sunbeds, and so on. Her English is excellent, and she’s just the loveliest, most organized hotel boss 😎 and a genuinely great person. If you’re coming to Honey, even if you don’t know anything about how the place works, trust me—you’ll be taken care of ❤️

Absolutely ADORED the Mansio!! Personalized reach out from staff on WhatsApp prior to checking in. Friendly welcome, even after check in hours. Loved the scents chosen, even as we walked into the place and especially the quality of the scents and products in the bathroom! (I’m literally trying to source them so I can enjoy at home!!). Our kids adored the breakfast buffet and the location, walking out to the central square was just so special!!!

The staff was very thoughtful and kind at this hotel! They decorated our room very very nicely for our honeymoon. Additionally, the room was very elegant and romantic. It was the perfect combination of rustic and modern. The breakfast was also very delicious. The hotel is located in the old town of Rethymno which was a great location for us to explore nearby. We are very happy we stayed at Amalen Suites during our time in Rethymno for our honeymoon!

The apartment building is new and modern in design. Keyless entry makes it very easy to access. There is an open air common dining area on the ground floor with nice sittings. Breakfast, coffee or snacks can be purchased in the mornings. The bath room is pretty unique, with a nice shower. Spacious living room with a large balcony. Bed room is cozy and comfortable. The location is about 10 min walk from the water front and old town. Staff is super nice and friendly. Although there is no designated parking, there are plenty of parking spaces on the streets around the building.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival and received a free upgrade to execute suite with jacuzzi! The view from the room is epic, directly facing the ocean and we fell asleep every night with the sound of the waves, so calming! We usually don't like having buffet dinner in the hotel as it might get bored after couple days but the buffet here is so unexpectedly delicious!! I don't think the food got repeated during our stay. The smart TV in the room allows you to use the projection function. If you bring your own laptop and you stream Netflix or Disney+ on the TV. Don't worry about not having sun beds, I think they have enough here. I would highly recommend anyone who comes to Crete for holiday to stay in this hotel, it certainly worths any penny you spend!

Location was great, staff are very friendly and helpful. View from our room was exceptional! The room had everything you needed and they even let you borrow wine glasses for your wine. Shower pressure was phenomenal and the shower drains pretty fast (unlike some hotels we’ve been to in Crete). Breakfast was the best we’ve had. Selection was pretty good. At first it looked small but they had many items and each item was very good quality and house made! I would definitely come back to stay here next time we are in Rethymno!

    Amazing stay, really enjoyed it. Food was tasty, lots of options available, different restaurants. Room very comfortable, AC worked spotless. Checkin/checkout experience very good. They let yu stay in the hotel after checkout and eat even if your flight is at night. Pool chairs very comfortable. Always chairs available at the beach or pools, they come and free the chairs if there are towels just sitting them for hours so people don't keep them occupied all day while they are taking a nap. Lots of things to do: aqua park, disco, inflatable tobogan, volleyball/soccer courts, water sports (non motorized free, motorized paid). Breathtaking views from lots of places inside the hotel. If you stay for 7 nights you can book 1 a la carte restaurant for free. Some a la carte restaurants are actually buffets. Across the hotel you can book activities if you want to travel outside the hotel + massages that are cheaper than at the spa + a shop that is cheaper than the hotel one.

    The hotel offers All Inclusive package. There is lot of food options and the empty slots are re- filled quickly, even at short time before the end of meals. There are good options for snacks at the bar, including pizzas, giros, salads, cakes and ice-cream. There are hot and cold coffees served, including very good Greek frappe. The family apartments are actually duplex with sleeping part on the first floor. Every one also has its own table and chairs in-front and a pair of sunbeds. Extremely nice view and fresh air with light, very polite wind at the restaurant. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The shuttle is useful, on- the time. The beach with sunbeds is also a great value.

    Beautiful hotel right on the sea. The staff was so welcoming from the first moment, serving ice tea during checkin. The room was great- plush towels, very spacious, good amenities, complimentary wine and water. The private beach across the street is amazing and the true highlight for me!! You can reserve in advance a chosen luxurious sunbed (no fee for hotel guests) and there is a great selection of food and drinks (made at the hotel) that can be brought to you throughout the day. The hotel breakfast is really fantastic and having drinks watching the sunset is a great evening.

    The old town is rich with historical buildings and features. The fort is worth a visit too, make sure you get a guide book; the on-site information is very sparse. The harbor is a great place to have a beer and people watch. The better and more reasonably priced restaurants are in Old Town, a very short walk away.

    A very good base for very many superb beaches in southern Crete, with a nice beach within the town, some great shops and very good eating options both within the town and the surrounding villages. Not spoiled by mass tourism as many other places in the island, yet neither too remote and hard to reach. Just perfect.

    The villa is finished to a very high standard and the outdoor seating areas and bbq are brilliant. There is also a view of the sea. The walk to the beach is along a road but very easy. Haris recommended a restaurant in the Port which was very nice and we also ate lunch on the beach at Karavostasi beach twice (the first one as you go down the steps to the beach). We preferred this bay to Livadi but you do have to drive there. We bought very nice meat from the butchers Haris recommended in the port. Rethymon old town is well worth a visit and we also went to Lake Kournas. We had a really relaxing stay and wish it could have been longer. Thank you Haris and family.

    Adorable, quaint and full of charm.

    Adorable, quaint and full of charm. At night the village centre close the roads, bring out the tables and chairs and the streets are filled with the sights, smells and sounds of Cretan joy. One of the places I will miss the most and can’t wait to return too.

    A small vibrant fishing village which offers plenty of restaurants and accommodations. The beach is clean but a little small. Water is clean with access via a short walk from the village centre. It is quite hilly and may present problems for certain visitors. Evenings are very lively with many restaurants and some shops. It is centrally placed for journeys to others beaches and destinations such as Matala, Spili and so on.

    Our main. reason for visiting the area was because we were attending a wedding. I did find that Adelianos Kampos was located near to a lot of pick ups for tours around Crete to allow you to experience other areas around the island. Many places to eat around the area, but none that really stuck out for me that I would recommend. Just walk around the area because there is much to choose from.

    I really like Platanes, it's not too far from the busy Rethymno centre and slightly more relaxed than being near the main areas, but still has nice restaurants and beach bars etc. and good access to main roads etc. if you like to get out and adventure without getting stuck in congestion, which can sometime be found neare to centre.

    Very near the sea. 2 very good supermarkets, bakery and chemist. Good restaurants. Not hectic busy so excellent for relaxing break.Local villages of Asteri and Chamalevri within walking distance. As is Pagkalochori which has Asani monastery. Wonderful authentic Cretan experience.

    It's a quiet village with very friendly people and along the beach road you very quickly arrive at the next village that has a mini market and 3 or 4 tavernas. It's not for people looking for nightlife and shops. A car is needed to get there and to be able to go to bigger town with shops and other sights of interest. Our favourite places in Rodakino were Korakas beach cafe; Super market Zafeirakis where the lady was friendly and helpful and Nikos & Anna Taverna. Just a little further away the taverna at Peristeres beach is definitely my favourite place to eat.

    The villa is well placed and suitable for up to 4 people. The local cafes and tavernas provide great food and drink at reasonable prices. The beach is lovely and less crowded than the naturist beach which looked very busy. We used Damnoni water sports for paddleboarding and kayak and they were excellent
