I can't find the words to explain how much we enjoyed our stay here. The villa was so beautiful, the scenery so tranquil, the interior decoration, cleanliness, facilities, comfort. As for the hospitality, we felt like we were hosted at a friend's. We had a wonderful and revitalizing sleep in the absolute quietness of the forest. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant was beautiful and very cozy. Also the menus had delicious dishes with local mushrooms and a variety of meats among others. If you look for accomodations from visiting Meteora then highly recommend to choose this hotel. It is so peaceful and love. Of course some people will say that the hotel is a bit run down. City of Grevena is at a 10-15 mins walk from Hotl Milionis, through woods (with paved path) then long the road. Small city with all you need for a traveller in transit. Not really the classic "Greek touristic destination" though.Guest review byGREGORYFrance - 8.0
The hotel was just outside the village of Krania.
The hotel was just outside the village of Krania. The village itself is mostly recently built and not very scenic. It did not have much to offer in terms of facilities. A little further along the road, there is another village called Milia, which is really attractive and well worth a visit. There are some lovely stone bridges along the road through the forest in the direction of the region's main city of Grevena. Even in the rain, it is very beautiful. There are deer in the forest and we saw one run across the road in front of us.Guest review byJane
