Brilliant and helpfull host, truly a great apartment for the price. Both bedrooms were very comfortable and clean, same applies to the kitchen/living area, the bathroom and the large terrace. AC in all rooms. Parking situated right infront of the building. Sea just a few steps away. We even booked an additional night to explore Pag Idland more. Truly a 10* stay and I will make sure to book this again.

My stay at this hotel was beyond expectations, as the overall experience was excellent. The place is very clean, well-maintained, and provides a very good standard of comfort. The apartment looks just like the pictures. It is brand new, comfortable and clean. Everything works great, from AC, smart TV, Wi-Fi, shower with hot water and great water pressure etc. My partner and I are very sensitive to noise and light, so we appreciated the quiet surroundings and the roller shutters in the bedroom. The owner is extremely kind, we even received some welcome gifts, and were offered early check-in and late check-out. The location was great for us, just a short stroll down to the beach, which was totally empty when we were there in June. There is also a lovely bar if you want to get food, drinks and some shade.

The breakfast was excellent with fresh coffee. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. While not in the center of Novalja, it's within walking distance. The hotel also offers the option to rent bicycles. The location is peaceful since it's not in the busy center.

Novalja is amazing.

Novalja is amazing. Sure, it’s full of people in the high season since the famous Zrce Beach is nearby, but I’ll definitely come back next year. Not just for the beautiful sea and beaches, but also because we never had a chance to be bored.

The owner was very kind and accommodating. The location was a peaceful and convenient place to stay. We ate at the public beach area which we walked to in under 10 minutes. We walked around the marina after dinner and that was a lovely family walk. Would recommend to others.

Povljana is growing too fast.

Povljana is growing too fast. The rapid construction of unsightly apartment buildings threatens the original charm of this peaceful coastal village and slowly pushes it toward the fate of overcrowded resorts like Makarska. For now, the situation is still bearable – but it feels like a tipping point is approaching. One can only hope that local authorities and residents will act before the soul of the place is lost for good.

The location is fabulous.

The location is fabulous. The sea is clean and full with sea life. There are at least 3-4 restaurants in Mandre, two grocery shops and 2-3 bakeries. There is a cheese shop about 3 km away in Kolan, that has a lot of tasty local specialties.

Good: - beautiful beaches in the area

Good: - beautiful beaches in the area - several markets, no need to travel anywhere during the stay - beautiful walking/running trail called 'Life on Mars'. Not good: - near Slana bay there was a concentration camp in the past which is not commemorated in a good way; one have to find the info by their own - I think most of the people are not aware in what kind of area they spend vacation.

The location is wonderfully peaceful, yet offers plenty of restaurants, a shop, and everything you might need for a comfortable holiday. The highlight is without a doubt the large pebble beach with its crystal-clear sea – truly exceptional. Šimuni also has a charming harbor with several restaurants, and it even offers the possibility to swim there if the waves at the main beach are too strong. Having explored the entire island, I can say that this is one of the most beautiful spots for anyone seeking peace and relaxation.

It’s a fairly remote village, but it’s full of life and really gorgeous. There is a little market where you can buy mostly vegetables, some olive oil stands, but the nearest shop is a 20 min drive away. The olive gardens are really beautiful, you can find nice spots along the trail!

Novalja peaks during summer for the festival season, with Zrce Beach nearby. However, it's a cute small town with its own little charm, I would definitely come at a less busy time (that being said, even during festival season it didn't feel crowded at all), and do some driving to nearby spots on the island. Driving is definitely preferred in Croatia in general (just be aware of limited parking and teeny two way streets), but you can arrive by bus to Novalja too.

Our second Croatian island (the first was Lošinj) and another marvel! We were enthralled by the nature, we loved the diverse beaches, the restaurants and food were great, the locals extremely friendly, and for those wondering about Zrće - yes, it is just as lively and fun as everyone is saying. Pag is truly a well-rounded destination and you can be sure there is something for everyone to discover and fall in love with.
