The room was delightful and the staff were all very warm, welcoming and helpful. The pool and garden were perfect, it was a lovely peaceful location to switch off from everything. Although there were other people staying there (there are six lodges in total), the pool was never busy and there was always space.

    I spent what I can only describe as my best couple of weeks in Bali so far at Pondok Nyoman. Absolutely stunning place and host- all round fabulous. The untainted views of the rice fields and mountains are breathtaking, the rooms are spacious and cleaned to high standards, the WiFi is strong throughout/ good enough for digital nomading. The gardens are delightfully designed, the atmosphere is serene, and there are well laid out places to eat and socialise. There even is a mini gym and area to practice yoga in- a wonderful add-on to the infinity pool for exercise! The level of care I received from Nyoman and team was the highlight however- nothing was ever too much and all I could possibly need during my stay was handled directly from Pondok. Food, refreshments, laundry, massages- all arranged effortlessly and in a timely manner. For trips (no less than 10 sites worth checking out within 30 mins drive!), Nyoman even connected me with trusted drivers/ tour guides in the area so I could make the most of my visit in full confidence- as a solo traveller I felt very safe and well looked after during every single outing. Last but not least, amenities nearby are good too- traditional market, minimarts, ATMs, plus a nice selection of warungs and restaurants available on foot if you're looking to try something different. All in all, if you're passing in the area or looking for a bit of a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the south like me, then please do not hesitate to give Pondok a chance to wow you. You'll find a home away from home, a sense of belonging, and the most loving embrace from Nyoman - a kind and caring man whose life story I bet will also inspire you.     I had a doubt about this hotel because of 7.9 on booking.com, but I decided to come and see it and I have never regret about it!! You should visit this place!! I have traveled to 55 countries and lived in so many hotels but this is one of the best places I’ve stayed in!! The hotel is stylish and modern, the rooms are newly renovated, there is air purifier in the room, the shower is new and clean and the bed is comfortable, the staff is polite and helpful and the breakfast is also good. Bur the most amazing thing is the view!! It seems that you are not in Bali, but somewere in the mountains of Georgia :) You should visit their restaurant!! I highly recommend you to order zucchini fritters, eggplant rolls, eggplant salad, vareniki and syrniki!! Also corn soup was very good! 😋 We also had a golf lesson. Before trying it I thought that playing golf is quite boring but we had so much fun!!! I highly recommend you to have a golf lesson while you are there. The hotel has a huge territory so we rented the bicycles and circled around and it was so nice! Don’t think twice and book this hotel, you will love it!! I definitely will come back and recommend this place to all my friends!

    Our stay in Bedugul was a tranquil beginning to our stay in Bali. We loved the variety of scenery and activities. Although drivers were needed to access most of the activities most of these were not far from the hotel. Interactions with drivers and staff felt authentic. Loved that we could go for walks around GiriwoodHotel too. The lower temperatures in this region were very welcomed too.

    The peacefulness and serenity.

    The peacefulness and serenity. Very traditional Bali which is a breath of fresh air away from the hustle and bustle of central main areas. Would only recommend as a stay if you're looking for a quiet relaxing vacation. Very easy to get around if you hire a scooter otherwise you walk every where. There are a few restaurants and warungs on the beach side and up the road but nothing 5 star. Some classier spots about 10 minutes away from the main surf beach.

    We were in a good location from everything we wanted to do🤔🤔 We ate at many restaurants in the area. I got to watch the AFL and NRL games at Rama Garden bar and Restaurant. The seafood there was very good and freshly cooked.

    This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access. The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc. The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while. He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

    Stayed in Sesandan Village- gorgeous rolling hills full of greenery and smiling faces. I ate primarily at Bali Red Roses (food cooked by Mr. Wayan's wife). I am an ultra runner so I walked almost everywhere with the occasional trip to Tabanan. The hiking, running, and walking are wonderful. Learn about dog packs and being the alpha though because you will need to learn to handle the chatty dogs.

    We loved the Joglo accommodation we stayed in.

    We loved the Joglo accommodation we stayed in. It was in perfect condition, very clean and spacious. Aircon worked well and surprisingly no issue with mozzies in the room. We were thankful to have toothpaste and toothbrush’s in the room for us, also body wash and shampoo. We brought along our little dog and am thankful for our experience there. For dinner we had meals delivered by a local Warung that was recommended by the hotel staff. The next morning we went to the local beach, it’s not one to swim at. More a place to get a few photos and move on. Not much to do around the area, just relax and unwind.

    Already did review but also they can send out laundry that can be done overnight for a reasonable price! Extremely helpful when on a long trip and packing light. Handara gate is not really worth paying and standing in line for. Go to Wanagiri for great photos. Banyu wana amertha falls is recommended. 3 waterfalls, no mafia guides harassing you, can take motorbike down to falls for cheap, not many people

    We stayed at Villa Taman di Blayu for 5 nights, for us it was a retreat to sit and chill. For this it was perfect.....after travelling through some pretty hectic traffic to get there. From the Villa there was no traffic noise, it overlooks rice fields and has lovely grounds garden / pool / ponds that surround the restaurant. The streets surrounding were safe to walk around.
