- From $184.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 831 reviewsQuiet, comfortable bed, huge room, friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast was delicious- really well done. Croissants, yogurt with granola parfait, cereals, juices. In addition to that, there was a menu for made to order- full Irish, porridge with honey, eggs on toast, pancakes. We stayed because our ferry arrived late- we’d been in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany for 3 weeks. This hotel was the best value, and best breakfast of the trip and was really comfortable- great linens, large bed and a good mattress. The staff was great too. Highly recommend.Guest review byLoriIreland

Nice little town, lots of individual shops to meander around, interesting history, nice pubs, but only one that we could find, served food! We searched for ages, till we found somewhere to eat! We were disappointed at that to be honest. Also, OMG the one-way system is very hard to negotiate! We left our accommodation at 6.30am to drive to the ferry port at Rosslare and went around the system 3 times in the dark, before we managed to get onto the road we need! Badly signposted too!Guest review byJanetUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Once a ferryport devoid of any real amenities apart from a hotel, Rosslare now boasts several bewer hotels, a fantadtic fish and chip shop, a restaurant-bar, a Pizza cafe, a supermarket and a post office. The village if Kilrane is a short walk away where you'll find two bars that serve food.Guest review byJOHNUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Quaint and picturesque town on the pleasant river Slaney steeped in Irish History. Enniscorthy was the scene of the 1798 rebellion where the united Irishmen took their last stand on the summit of Vinegar hill overlooking the town. The Castle and the 1798 visitors centre are worth a visit if you are interested in history as is the Father Murphy centre at Boolavogue. Nice beaches close by, greyhound racing, and traditional Irish pubs which are good for a sing song! Enjoy!Guest review bySEANUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The cleanliness is superb.
The cleanliness is superb. The only downside is we dont have a private toilet/ shower room. Maybe if you travel with group this is okay because you dont mind sharing with your group. We have kids so its kinda difficult when we dont have our private toilet. It was my fault because i didnt read that the toilet facilities are sharedGuest review byKathleenUnited Arab Emirates - 8.0
Medium sized Irish town sitting on the river Barrow.
Medium sized Irish town sitting on the river Barrow. Quiet on a Sunday but still worth a visit. Main tourist attractions are the Dunbrody Famine Ship where actors role playing as emigrants interact with visitors during a tour of the ship, the Ross Tapestry (note: not open Sunday or Monday), the Norman walking trail that details the origin of New Ross (some small hills to be tackled) and the nearby Kennedy Homestead and John F. Kennedy Arboretum (both to the south of New Ross). Plenty more to see and do in the area, particularly Tintern Abbey and the Colclough Walled Garden (best visited in the autumn when the many apple tress are fully laden).Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Duncannon is a beautiful village on the South Coast with a beautiful sandy beach. It is ideally located to explore the area with both Waterford and Wexford only a short drive away. Hook Lighthouse is 20 minutes away by car and is a must for anyone visiting the area.Guest review byFr SeanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Great, friendly, staff. Great Cráic at the bar.
Great, friendly, staff. Great Cráic at the bar. N8ce music at bar. Lovely atmosphere throughout facility. One blip was, a wet towel left by previous guests was still hanging on hook behind bathroom door. Cleaning staff need to check the hooks behind doors when cleaning bathroom area. Didn't upset me really. The overall stay was top class and I will be returning.Guest review byPATRICK JIreland - 10.0

It's quite central and a good location to get to other parts of Wexford and Waterford. Pretty location by the sea with good accommodation such as the Marsh Mere Lodge and the Kings Head pub providing a good evening meal. Visiting The Hook and it's famous lighthouse, Booley Bay and other stopping off sites is a very pleasant drive from Arthurstown.Guest review byRebeccaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Wexford is a beautiful county with lots of indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy. Some lovely beaches and hidden private pockets, beautiful spot for forrest walks and a fair amount of horse riding facitlities. Lovely galleries and craft spots. Beautiful little fishing villages. Often find great live music and good food in the same facility. You should dig around and wander. It's one of those counties that will surprise you if you make an effort and do a little research. Hosts a lot of different fesitivals through the year including wirting, art, opera and strawberry festivals. Lovely people and one of the best areas in Ireland for decent weather.Guest review byHeahterMarinaIreland
