- From $255.66 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,134 reviewsOur room was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub and sauna in the evening. We also took a little time to meet all the animals and enjoy the farm. The location was also great, a quick drive to Selfoss with groceries, restaurants and anything you would need but also enjoy the countryside at the same time. The staff at breakfast was also helpful with giving advice about our plans for the day.Guest review byMimiFrance

town was a quaint seaside escape, good pizza place in town, watch out for the seafood restaurant serving horse meat on menu 🥩 😢so disturbing (its next to pizza place, so we were happy w/ pizza instead)!!Guest review byRuhinaUnited States - 10.0
Great place in south of Iceland.
Great place in south of Iceland. The town of "flowers" is a good name for this place, as it is the warmest place in Iceland, where they grow flowers and enjoy life. It has the best swimming pool of the whole country, with an amazing "steam room" that is heated with steam straight from the vulcanic core of our planet.Guest review byJonastRussia - 10.0

Centre of Fludir has grocery store, a gas station and 2 hotels - all four located very closely across the street. So we could get full tank of gadoline to drive further and wr had really good breakfast in hotel, but for the evening got some food in the shop. We didn't spend much time there and sayed only for one night driving through from one destination point to anothes as we dind't find any interesting object to visit in this town.Guest review byLauraLatvia - 8.0

I only stayed for one night and I didn't get to use the kitchen but I could have stayed longer. Lovely kitchen and shared space with a fabulous view across the fields and to the Geyser so close. A lot of care and thought has been put into the guesthouses layout and decor. Quirky and beautiful.Guest review byRuthAustralia - 10.0

We loved everything! The glass bubble and the hot tub outside are fantastic additions to this lovely cottage. Our host was very helpful and patience, response quick. We had the most amazing and memorable 3 nights here!Guest review byAdriennUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Geyser area is a popular stop in Iceland.
Geyser area is a popular stop in Iceland. Although I was skeptical of a hotel, located at a tourist, attraction, the hotel impressed us. The facility was new. The restaurant was top notch. In the evening After the tourist flow slows down, it is awesome to have so close to a cool attractionGuest review byJasonUnited States - 10.0

We had an incredible 7 night stay at Elín & Börkurs property! The view of the river is extremely beautiful, so relaxing and the perfect setting to enjoy the hot tub and some Aurora spotting. We travelled as two families, a group of nine in total, and the property was perfect for us. The two shower rooms (one en-suite) and four bedrooms worked well. The hot tub is always ready to go so really handy not to have to wait for 30 minutes - 1 hour for it to heat up. Washing machine and dryer available to use, just need to bring some washing tabs / liquid. Plenty of toilet roll, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available to use, as well as kitchen towel and cleaning products to keep things tidy during our stay. Plenty of spare towels and bed linen available which was appreciated whilst travelling with children. A travel cot and high chair were made available for us to use on request. It was a fantastic base to explore the golden circle, the secret lagoon and all that South Iceland has to offer - we even managed a day trip to Jokulsarlon ice lagoon and the diamond beach (four hours away), with a couple of stops along the way. The local pool in Selfoss, recommended by Elín, was a hit with the children, especially the slides, diving boards, and indoor pool. The adults loved it too - we would recommend it! And finally the pre-arrival information was really helpful. Elín & Börkur were very patient and on hand to help with anything we needed during our stay. We will definitely be back, thank you!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
What I liked most was the location and the cottage itself.
What I liked most was the location and the cottage itself. It was in fantastic conditions and modern styled which made it feel very luxury. We ate at the restaurant which has the same owner as the cottages, and though it was a great selection of food - it was not the best for me who's gluten intolerant. However, they were super helpful and made sure I got something as well.Guest review bySagaIceland - 10.0

We did two day-trips in the full days we had staying here, one to the North and northwest, the other to the northeast. We also saw things on the way from the KEF Airport, and on our way to the next destination on the Ring Road.Guest review bymarybethUnited States
