IndiaHighly recommend!! We got to see our first show of northern lights here!!! You need not go anywhere to see them. You can enjoy it from the comfort of your room. The rooms and property are great- clean. Breakfast was great and with a view! The hotel is located at a distance of 10-12mins from Hofn town (by car). Great location for viewing auroras.

The property was lovely & clean and well equipped for cooking, but could do with a proper sofa/settee as the one in the property was a little uncomfortable to sit on. Could also do with a dust pan and brush. Apart from that it was lovely.

Checking in and out is very easy and flexible (self checkin available if you arrive late), the room has everything you need for a few day long stay including: hair dryer, towels, bedsheets, kettle, tea, coffee, TV with english channels, hangers, carpark etc. Maybe a small fridge would be handy but since we were staying there in the middle of November, our car's trunk just did the job 🙂 The room was clean and spaceous for two of us. We loved how cozy this house was. We were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful views from every side of this house. It was close to glacier lagoon and a couple of nice restaurants. The guesthouse gave a accurate description of the area so we knew what services were there and not there and could plan ahead. We loved walking around and the sights and hikes that were nearby. It was so easy to get to the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach, and we could go back to see them at night too. Room okay for one night but unfortunately a little overpriced. The buffet style breakfast is very basic and offers little to none options for dietary needs. We enjoyed the cabin we stayed in. The bedding was very nice and the kitchen perfectly stocked with dishes. The playground was fun. The office sells some camping supplies. Absolutely loved the variety of fresh, farm to table offerings, and homemade breads at breakfast. Dinner menu was extensive, meals were delicious. Enjoyed seeing the sea birds, and sheep in the pasture. Views of mountain and bay/ ocean were great. Very close to Glacier Bay and Diamond Beach. Peaceful. Staff were friendly.
