- From $180.14 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 611 reviewsThe breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered something for everyone. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to use the hotel bikes for free and anytime we wanted. The bike path in Levanto along the coast was beautiful. The room was nice, but a little small for a family of three. (But who wants to stay inside when visiting the Cinque Terre?) The location of the hotel was excellent, close to everything. The train station was within 5 minutes walking distance. We would definitely come back!Guest review byMelanieSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 339 reviewsAbsolutely everything was spectacular. First the views - just incredible. Staff was lovely, the facilities even more beautiful than pictured. We booked one of the tents and it was even better than I hoped with clear, gorgeous views and comfortable everything. Breakfast was generous and we loved that they offered shuttle service to the train station. We also rented bikes for a day which was a great way to get around and see things.Guest review byPatrickNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,194 reviewsExcellent place to sleep, and enjoy an unforgettable view from the balcony. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff truly kind towards us. There is a pool, but bear in mind it will be cold unless you go in summer. One of the things we enjoyed the most was how close the hotel was to the beach, as long as it is not raining ;)Guest review byAngelloRPanama

Travelling from Rome, we made La Spezia our base to launch into the Cinque Terre. Fiume269 was just 10-min walk away from the main train station to travel to the 5 towns. Buses from near our stay take you easily to La Spezia's main attractions.Guest review byRobin GomesItaly - 10.0
Charming Monterosso al Mare has the largest selection of...
Charming Monterosso al Mare has the largest selection of hotels, shops and restaurants compared to the other Cinque Terre villages. We used it as a base to travel to the other four villages, which with hindsight was a great decision as it is less steep compared to the others. It is very easy to travel between the villages by train but if you're fond of hikes, there are numerous trails which can be followed to get to each. We did the section of the Blue Trail (Sentiero Azzuro) between Monterosso and Vernazza which was very steep and took about 3-4 hours at a slow pace. The STUNNING Via del Amore (Lovers walk) from Riomaggiore to Manarola is flat and very easy. You would need about 3 days to see all the villages at a leisurely pace but allow more time if you plan to do several trails. The moon rise from the promenade paired with a busker singing live in Monterosso al Mare is breath taking and evokes an indefinable sense of inner peace. Since we stayed there for five nights, we had ample time to visit historical Porto Venere, a short ferry ride from La Spezia. After walking around for a few hours, we took a boat all the way back to Monterosso al Mare which was definitely worth it for the alternative views of the five villages. Another option for a location of the Italian Riviera to visit is the glamorous and star studded Portofino. Whatever you do and wherever you are, do not miss the delicious gelatos and freshly made lemonade! They're everywhere! Have a fantastic trip!Guest review byMeeraKenya - 10.0

Riomaggiore is a vibrant town.
Riomaggiore is a vibrant town. Loved being outside at night with the restaurant sounds and bars playing music. It felt safe to walk around on my own. Enjoyed the harbor view and proximity to boat rental and tours. Beach was nice and small and not too crowded. Ferry is right there, too. Highly recommend staying in Riomaggiore.Guest review bySusan CleereUnited States - 10.0

Portovenere is a perfect place to stay, if looking for a quieter place but similar scenery to Cinque Terre. Lots of things to do from hiking, boat trips to other resorts and well connected to La Spezia by local bus.Guest review byJeanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Picturesque, relatively small and quiet compared to the other cinque Terre towns. Centrally located so I could begin day walks in both directions. Best not to carry heavy luggage up the hill from the train station (around 380 steps) - use the bus… only 1,50 Euros but expect to wait 15-30 mins at peak time. The walks to Vernazza and on to Monterosso, and also the walk to Manarola are magnificent, just be prepared for lots of steps.Guest review byJohnAustralia - 10.0

It was so special to be so close to Cinque Terre region by train and then to come back to the quiet comfort of Hotel Belvedere in the afternoon. There are great opportunities to hire a bike for a few hours and ride to the neighbouring towns of Fremura and Levanto- with all straight road access- no hills involved! The only downfall is the walk up and down the hill for the hotel and town commute- it can become quite tiresome after a long day of sightseeing - but overall a wonderful unforgettable stayGuest review byRAustralia
