- From $169.01 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,944 reviewsThe property as a whole is magical - it created a sense of wonder, relaxation, down-to-earth vibe and basically everything one might ask for in a leisure location. Some exceptionally great factors to highlight are wonderful staff aleays eager to help and serve but also interact in a personal way if that’s something you like; the pool with it’s facilities; the cucina in either one of the great restaurants, home to a great Chef and staff that are truly on-par with the highest standard of Toscanian fine dining but reasonably priced; the bar and drinks; the Tennis and Fooball Facilities; and of course the rooms which truly hit the balance between ”country romantic” and modern. I think we stayed at one of the cheapest rooms but it too was exceptionally great for a frequent traveller. Must mention that with a rental car, the location is great for day-trips to anywhere in Toscana (Firenze, Siena, Montepulciano, whatever you want to see). 10/10, would recommend for families, couples, elderly, a dog family or basically anyone who wants a pinch of true toscanian warmth and luxury in their life.Guest review byPauliFinland
- From $248.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 356 reviewsThis place is completely beautiful. The rooms are lovely (highly recommend the garden suites with outdoor space, but there is lots of outdoor common space as well). The restaurant is absolutely amazing, we ate breakfast and dinner here for I think 6 of the 7 days we stayed. Everything is delicious but highly recommend the wild boar ragu and the truffle pasta and the fiorentina steak. And the tiramisu. We took a cooking class and leaned how to make pasta and the tiramisu, which was fun and delicious to eat the result afterwards. The staff is here wonderful, they will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is enjoyable and you have everything you need. And the wine is delicious, highly recommend taking the tour and doing the wine pairing dinner. We cannot wait to come back here.Guest review bySarahUnited States

The pool and chaise lounges were lovely for our family. The breakfasts were outstanding. Ana and Ilaria were so accommodating with booking cooking classes (highly recommend Virna and Claudio's class down the road) and winery picnics.Guest review byArinUnited States

We did not use the spa, but did see it and it looked very good. I did use the fitness centre. It was properly equipped, but the only issue I had was that it was very hot and did not have any proper airflow. On the flip side, I was the only one in there!Guest review byMario HernandoUnited Kingdom

Florence has impressive sites, but even though we arrived in September, the city was very crowded and in some places it was difficult to move comfortably. We waited almost an hour to enter the Duomo and perhaps we could have used the time better.Guest review bynirIsrael - 10.0

Amazing property - exceeds expectations in every way. The staff, the scenery, the luxe and comfy room decor, the lovely upgrade, and all the wonderful wine and food on property and in nearby Montefioralle and Greve. SO worth the trip. I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count.
I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.Guest review byD. CaronanItaly - 8.0
The apartement was even nicer than pictures.
The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. The pool looked really nice but we did not have time to take advantage of it. Check in was easy even though we arrived very late at night. Same for the check out.Guest review byPatriciaCanada - 10.0

Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!Guest review byLyndalAustralia - 10.0

The place feels like a little castle, full of charm and character. The hosts were incredibly kind and waited for us until late at night to give us the keys and explain everything about the surroundings. Breakfast was nice, and everyone we met was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The view is absolutely outstanding. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby for dinner, which made our evenings even more enjoyable. We didn’t use the pool since it was already out of season and quite cold.Guest review byThe VaisermansIsrael - 10.0

Gaiole in Chianti is a wonderful little town with a good town center with a good variety of restaurants, a pharmacy and supermarket. It makes the perfect place to make your day trips to other cities, like Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Rada in Chianti, Greve in Chianti. Also if you want to cycle, the area around Gaiole is perfect.Guest review byjesperDenmark - 10.0

Radda in Chianti is a charming small village nestled in the heart of Chianti. Situated high on a hill, it offers beautiful views over the Tuscan valleys. The atmosphere is peaceful, with a lovely, cozy, green, clean, and historic setting. Essential services are available, and both Siena and Florence are less than an hour’s drive away.Guest review byMiaFinland - 6.0

San Casciano is remote in the beautiful Tuscan Hills, although just 40 minutes slow drive to Florence The hotel is 7 minutes outside the town, so walking is difficult. Need a car to go anywhere. Taxis are not available. This hotel is pretty good, but the much-acclaimed restaurant is, at best, just above average and pricey. Claims to be "special" but isn't! Terrace dining is romantic but watch the wasps in the daytime and mosquitos in the evening. Swmming pool fairly small and crowded. Grounds are pristine and lots of lovely bougainvillea. Reception staff smile a lot. Huge carpark!Guest review byLaurenceUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This place was incredible.
This place was incredible. The property was beautiful and so well kept. The owner, Alex, could t have done more to make sure we were comfortable in our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was really friendly, great with our kids and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were so well decorated, the beds comfy and Alex had great recommendations for exploring the area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in an instant.Guest review byGEORGEUnited Kingdom
