- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 211 reviewsThis was a beautiful property tucked away on the far side of town on the mountain edge of town, 1/2 mile from the ferry. Our hostess/owner Anna provided many recommendations and helped us book a boat tour through her many connections in town. Her breakfasts top all other breakfasts! The figs, oh my... Our patio had a lovely hammock - with volcano view - and table to chill at. A nearby beach, 6 minute walk was heavenly, and just above it was a quaint hotel restaurant. Can you say afternoon spritz? We of course did the self guided night hike of Stromboli volcano. Mesmerizing...and not as hard as you'd think. A big light show at night! The room was comfortable and cool, spotlessly clean and very very quiet. If you speak Italian you will be able to learn much more history from Anna. Unfortunately my Spanish and French didn't quite cut it for complicated conversations, but we managed to communicate quite well despite my lack of Italian :) Anna is warm and welcoming and super helpful.Guest review byCathyBloodUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,681 reviewsThe location was perfect - a few minutes walk from where the ferry arrives (you can see the hotel when you step off the ferry) and there is a ticket office for the ferry and a small shop right next door. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent - a really big choice. The staff were amazing - before I arrived they answered all my questions promptly regarding tours etc and when I arrived they continued to arrange everything for me. The room was clean and comfortable and I felt safe and secure. No problem to leave your luggage with reception if you have a late departure.Guest review byBonnie YaelIsrael
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 549 reviewsThe property is beautifully situated on the ocean and is altogether charming with flowering trees, lovely balconies and views of the sea. There is a large pool and a small outdoor gym on the staff are extremely kind and helpful and accommodating. We stayed two nights and would easily have stayed longer. We thought it was one of the loveliest hotels and locations we had ever seen. We would recommend renting a scooter, however, to explore the island to travel to and from the ferry.Guest review byMaddalenaCanada

He assisted us with the laundry, always took care of the cleanliness of the room and immaculately maintained the garden and the surroundings.Guest review byGloriaItaly

Stromboli is one of a kind to check out an active volcano.
Stromboli is one of a kind to check out an active volcano. It also has surprisingly nice beaches. The island is lacking some tourist infrastructure. There is no place to rent snorkel equipment, for example. Food is a little pricier than mainland but nothing too outrageous.Guest review byBond - 10.0

We walked up the mountain without a guide to around 300 Metres. A tough climb but coming back in the dark is also difficult t pays to have headlamps... we used our cell phone torches which was a bit limiting. The experience and views were breathing taking especially at sunset..Guest review bySalveNew Zealand - 10.0
