A magic place nestled in the Alpes!
A magic place nestled in the Alpes! The mountains all around are very scenic. Cows are free to go and often come to say hallo. The green of the pastures is so intense while you can still see the white of the snow on the tops.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

It's one of those villages that "gets" to you.
It's one of those villages that "gets" to you. The village itself has very narrow streets (thankfully, many are one way only as some only barely fit one car) but the surrounding area offers plenty of hiking trails and the local waterfall, which is rather impressive. Plus this is one of THE wine and fruit growing regions in Southern Tyrol so there are plenty of locally grown foods available and I highly recommend stopping at the many stalls in the area that sell those products.Guest review byArBe01157New Zealand - 10.0
A wonderful place to stay.
A wonderful place to stay. Just do yourself a favour and book one of the modern, refurbished rooms. I booked in the afternoon, so last minute, but so glad to choose this family owned and run hotel. There was parking for my car. A fabulous buffet breakfast. Local recommendations for dinner. Just wish I had longer to stay.Guest review byStephenAustralia - 10.0

Beautiful traditional family run hotel.
Beautiful traditional family run hotel. Dinner was as good as Michelin star! The menu was typical of the area, plenty choice and the food was presented very well in deed. Great wine list. Breakfast was varied both hot and cold options and again local produce including fresh breadsGuest review byBarryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Maso Corto is a small tiny village but it's all about the skiing and the skiing was excellent. The lifts and gondalas were in good condition and very little time was spent queuing. The pistes were immaculately groomed and the restaurants and facilities on the mountains were good except for the Long T bar lift on the blue slope on the Glacier but that maybe replaced in time who knows !Guest review byLorraineIreland - 10.0

A very pretty little town, full of old, new, and modern houses. A delightful combination with a gorgeous view of the mountains and the valley. A few places to eat, and more to grad a glass of wine, or an icecream, and while away the hours. Many hiking destinations and leisure activities in the vicinity, as well as historic sites to visit. Add mountain lakes and forests ro the mix and you have a premium holiday destination.Guest review byGuyAustria - 8.0

We think that it should have been more clearly explained that this place can only be accessed by car pr private taxi and the car must be very strong and capable as the only narrow road is exceptionally steep and awkward and very long...twenty minutes to the nearest supermarket and restaurants by car and the telephone connection was very difficult to contact owners also bad on the email communication However once we reached the hotel we were very pleased withe facilities ,the view was thrilling(1,300 meters high)and kind hosts and delicious meal in the evening,,,,,THIS needs to be advertised as it did not say that they had their own evening restaurant and so it was wonderful.....they also should say before you go to the hotel you must bring cash as they do NOT accept credit cardsGuest review byHorstNew Zealand - 10.0
We went for skiing.
We went for skiing. The slopes are exceptionally well prepared. It is a smaller resort than Alta Badia, for example, but this has its benefits as there were no queues and crowds. It is close to Nauders in Austria, so one could decide to try both resorts, but we didn't: we loved the Schoeneben ski area. Food at the restaurants is much cheaper than average for ski resorts in Europe, yet of the same high standard.Guest review byPetya
