- From $211.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,856 reviewsThis was an excellent stay! The staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. They also offer convenient luggage storage before and after check-in. The pantry is stunning—beautifully designed and perfect for Instagram. It’s open all day, not just during breakfast, with some cold drinks available. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious pancakes and rotating side dishes. The coffee was superb, with both iced and hot options available during breakfast hours. Even the cutlery and tableware were stylish. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Hiroshima, with many attractions within walking distance and easy access to public transport. Okonomimura is just around the corner. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Hiroshima!Guest review byTimm ClaudioGermany

Staffs are very helpful and friendly. The public bath here is not hot spring, but hot bath during winter still hit the spot XD. They provide quite luxury amenity for you. The breakfast is excellent!!Guest review byIngkaratThailand

Rooms: Compared to any Japanese hotel, the rooms are huge. The antique finish and furniture adds glamour to the stay. Staff: Beyond polite, and quite jovial. Always ready to help.Guest review bySoumyaIndia

Didn't explore much beyond the Peace Memorial Park, the Vitims memorial (so quiet and thought provoking, they have used the sound of water very well) and some nearby streets as only here for an afternoon and a morning. It certainly makes you question why atomic bombs were ever developed and affirms that they should never be used again. Seeing trees that survived the bomb, and listening to an 'in utero' survivor was moving too. On a happier note the okonomyaki is very much recommended. So easy to get around using trams.Guest review byDebbie VUnited Kingdom - 10

It isn’t a typical tourist destination from my understanding but the gardens by night are absolutely stunning. The casual is also beautiful and I’m sad to have missed the pottery class. Food and bars also exceptional - everybody is particularly friendly, and perhaps less used to accommodating tourists. Coffee: Empire coffee roasters. Friendly service and outstanding coffee. Food: Hidaya Yanigamachi. Grill your own delicious meat. Drink: ichigin. Super friendly and will involve you in conversations even if you don’t speak Japanese.Guest review byAlexUnited Kingdom - 10

Only spent one day at the end of our trip which was enough to basically shop and wander the historical area which I think is the main attraction anyway. Beautiful, scenic, clean, historic. And we loved Yoshii Ryokan in the heart of it all. Definitely worth a visit.Guest review byAnonymous - 10

Onomichi is a picturesque and walkable city with lots of charm. You can stroll the vintage shotegai, visit the art museum, enjoy a snack at Onomichi U2, take a temple walk, ride the ropeway, and of course, biking the Shimanami Kaido. The people are friendly and the food and shopping are great.Guest review byLindsayUnited States - 10

The main reasson to visit was the Itsukushima Shrine but there was plenty of other shrines and temples to visit. The ropeway to Mt, Misen was great. The hike down not so much (not a trail, mainly steps - hard on the knees.Guest review byDeanUnited States - 10

The tourist information Centre was great. Had good information and most. There is a loop bus to take you to the Castle and other points. The observation deck at the Bank was wonderful. The views spectacular of Matsue. Looked a tidy place, well looked after and comfortable to visit.Guest review byRogerNew Zealand - 10

Silent small town, just next to the station you have castle, not that frequently operating local trains from this station. To reach Hiroshima I had to take a bus and could not find local trains. Shinkansen is available, so those who dont worry about Shinkansen prices then it is super easy.Guest review byRameshIndia - 10

We stayed here rather than on Naoshima island and took the short ferry across to the island. When we planned our trip, I had not factored in that many of the museums on the island were closed on a Monday and that some had to be booked for the Sunday. The benefit is that the onsen next to the Uno hotel is wonderful. You can be outside in one of the outside baths and at night gaze at the stars. We had a massage and a Japanese meal in the onsen and ambled happily back to the hotel. We delayed our planned departure to go the next morning after we had checked out of the hotel. We did not really explore the town itself but had a lovely meal in a restaurant close to the ferry building, overlooking the park and shopped in the big stores near the station.Guest review byBUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Quiet, orderly place where the emphasis is on peace, forgiveness and rejuvenation. Was ironic to sit there and contemplate what is currently going on in the world. Amazing how much was left standing and conversely how much was destroyed. The stone marking the hypocentre is very understated. We had some very good Okonomiyake recommended from a Google maps review,in a tiny place that seated approximately 4 people but was delicious.Guest review byHeatherUnited Kingdom
