The view is amazing, better than I expected. Not only do you get the view of the scramble crossing but you can also see the Sky Tree and Tokyo tower. Both look amazing during the day and at night. Room is very clean and comfortable bed. Rainfall shower with shower-head and a nice deep bathtub for those who like to relax after long day of shopping around Shibuya. Be sure to get the breakfast as its amazing on the 11th floor restaurant.

Probably, the best experience I had in hotels. Spacious (seriously spacious, especially for Japan) room, all the needed facilities, including big fridge, lounging area, super convenient coffee kettle, and lots of storage space. Very green-conscious. Laundry is on-line payable and controlled. Perfectly located close to all main sites and promenade, but noise insulation is great, so we had fantastic sleep. We had a great deal or the stay and I would definitely stay again when in Yokohama. Btw, if you are arriving by Minatomirai line, head for exit 4, it's just next to the hotel and has elevator (weirdly enough maps send you to the exit 2).

I had a wonderful stay at Tokyo East Side Hotel KAIE! The location was incredibly convenient—just steps from JR Shiomi Station, which made getting around Tokyo so easy. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and more spacious than I expected for a Tokyo hotel. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the coffee machine and bidet, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were all so friendly and helpful—they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Ensemble, and the manga library was a unique and fun bonus. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo, whether for business or leisure!

this is an excellent hotel with very good service. the rooms are beautiful and spacious by Japanese standards. the location is perfect… easy access from the Kamakura train station but off the main tourist street.

Booked the hotel for a concert and it is very convenient as it is within walking distance from both Makuhari Messe and Zozo Marine Stadium. It rained during our stay, but there is a covered walkway all the way from inside the hotel to Makuhari Messe so it was not a problem at all. There is also a Lawson inside the hotel so all needs are taken cared of, and there are a few restaurant options although they open early and close late. There are also limited shuttle service from the hotel to the subway station, although they will not take big luggage that you cannot carry on your lap. The airport limo bus from Narita goes straight to the hotel as well so another big plus for convenience. The location is perfect as well if you want to go to Disneyland as it is only a few train stops away from the resort

My stay here was incredible. The room was great and clean. The main reason i’m leaving a review is because of how helpful the staff were. I asked about sending a parcel back to the UK as we’d purchased too many things so we needed to post it back. Immediately all three of the staff were on it trying to find all information and quotes on this. The hotel even sold boxes for 200 yen, and Oishi (one of the staff) taped it all up for us and helped us pack it with packing paper as well. Amazing service. Oishi was amazing and was the main person helping us on our mission to send the parcel back to the UK. All the staff spoke excellent English too.

Wow! I don’t even know where to start. We stayed for four nights, and I wished we could have stayed longer. The service was absolutely incredible—unlike anything I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. The in-house bar was fantastic, with outstanding service there as well. The hotel’s ambiance is magical. Our room was spacious, and the view was breathtaking. We did have one night when the guests upstairs were a bit noisy, but the hotel staff was incredibly helpful and resolved the issue immediately. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely loved Tokyo.

Absolutely loved Tokyo. Using the subway to get to and from places was easy, everything color coded and google maps works well. Shibuya is an experience and must do both during day and night for very different experiences. Loved everything about this trip, very clean and quiet and we found it easy to navigate our way around.

Yokohama is a great city.

Yokohama is a great city. We took the train from Narita airport, which was easy and quick.The harbour and park areas are breathtaking We had 3 days, could have had an extra day. Transport by bus is easy with information given by the hotel and cheap. Taxis not so much! There is plenty to do and see, especially if you like walking. The New Hotel Grande is right next to Chinatown, which was great for food, but the restaurants serve a lot of cold food, so you need to specify. If you go on a cruise to or from Yokohama, stay a few days before and do heaps of sightseeing, then relax on the ship after.

Hakone is great but dont expect good weather , we couldnt see Fuji . Like so many other places on the tourist trail there are too many people there . Get off the trail , go to small towns and other islands , see a bit of real Japan rather than a crowd of tourists .

Don’t stay at an airport hotel unless you have an early am flight. Hotels are too far from amenities. Train service in Japan is so good that you can stay an extra day in Tokyo and other areas close to Tokyo and get to airport if your flight is later

Location was perfect due to being very close to the train station and that area had so many food and drink spot that was super affordable and was delicious. Staff was so friendly and professional and answered all our questions/needs. Breakfast was simple yet filling and delicious. 10/10 would/will stay here again in the future Japan trip!

Chiba is an amazing city and because Star Wars Celebration...

Chiba is an amazing city and because Star Wars Celebration 2025 was held there this year, I had to come and visit. The city is only about an hour away from Tokyo and going there from Chiba was easy to do. Locally speaking, Chiba offers many different places to eat (some of the best donuts I've ever had came from a donut shop called Uni Donuts close to the hotel I stayed at) and a cool Anime hobby store.

The Toshugo shrine was amazing and well worth the trip.

The Toshugo shrine was amazing and well worth the trip. If you travel on to Takayama I recommend seeing the one tenth scale model of the shrine complex which is almost unbelievable in its detail and precision. Nikko is quite a sleepy town and many restaurants shut very early so I recommend making a reservation. The Nikko pass is worth purchasing, we enjoyed a day sightseeing on the local buses and trains. We were attending a event in Kawasaki so that is why we stayed there. We didn't really do much sight-seeing in Kawasaki. We liked that the city was only a short train ride to many other cities like downtown Toyko and Yokohama. We enjoyed the many shopping and restaurants around Kawasaki Station.

Very nice city, plenty of historical sights, shopping, restaurants. Make sure it is not a national holiday though, the local train was absolutely packed! Many people make the trek to ride the nostalgic Enoden Electric Line, a fun trip along the coast but crushing crowds on a Sunday before a holiday.

We liked the room it was quite spacious.

We liked the room it was quite spacious. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was an easy bus ride from the main station and there were many restaurants nearby. The breakfast offered a lot options both Japanese and Western. The staff were very helpful finding some bus information and lending us umbrellas and adaptors.
