United KingdomThe staff! Faith, she made a special place in our heart. It was our honeymoon and she made everything very special for us, she was so attentive and the best host we had throughout our whole time in Kenya! We would come back SPECIFICALLY because of Faith!
Breakfast was great, loads to choose from. The room was very cosy and clean. They do cute touches like put hot water bottles in your bed whilst you're at dinner! There is always someone to walk you up and down the dark path which was a nice addition.

Looks on the website little bit like an anonymous business hotel but its not at all. we stayed here as backpackers and the staff was awesome polite, cordial and its been a gorgeous service. We felt welcomed all time and I can recommend to stay without any doubt. Would stay here again for sure! Thanks again to the whole team.

For little money you will stay in a clean tent and have access to simple but well maintained utilities. Wifi works surprisingly well, you have access to an unexpectedly big pool and can enjoy very tasty dinners in the restaurant. The owner is a skilled organizer of transport and shared safaris. Go for it!

BulgariaI can’t even explain how happy we are with our stay in Talek Bush camp. We booked it at the very last minute and I was not sure what to expect as we never slept in this kind of safari tent before. Everyone was so nice, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The tents were really specious and with enough space in between to provide some comfort and privacy. We arrived just before dinner time around 19 o’clock and we were served the food immediately. We stayed for two nights and both dinners were delicious and with a lot of vegetarian options. For the two days, we had our breakfast and lunch packed and we had a picnic inside the park while watching the wildlife around. It was just magical.
The location is perfect just outside the Talek gate, so you don’t have to travel a lot early in the morning to enter the park.
We had a problem with the guide that we booked before our arrival and we ended up having no guide for the next day at 22 o’clock. We called the owner Mustafa late in the evening, asking him if he could help us somehow. He not only picked up the phone despite the late hour but he also arranged a guide for us immediately and it turned out to be the best experience we had so far. Our new guide did the impossible to find us all of the big cats and we even saw all the big five in one single day in the park.
if you happen to be there on Friday night they also have a cultural night around the campfire with Masai people explaining about their culture and dancing.
We would be very happy to come back again if we have the chance. Just a perfect stay.

Our experience at Leisure camp was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everyone welcomed us with such kindness and warmth that we immediately felt at home. The staff are truly the heart of this place, always smiling, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed.
The food was absolutely delicious, with every meal freshly prepared and full of flavor. We especially appreciated the care and creativity behind each dish, you can feel the passion of the team in every detail.
Our room was beautiful and very comfortable, perfectly blending elegance and nature. Waking up to the sounds of the savanna and seeing the sunrise from our terrace was a magical moment we will never forget.
And of course, the safari experience made our trip truly special. Our guide, Joseph, was exceptional, knowledgeable, patient, and with an incredible eye for spotting animals. Thanks to him we learned so much about the wildlife and culture of the Maasai Mara, and every drive became an adventure filled with wonder and emotion.
Thank you to everyone at the lodge for making our stay so memorable. We left with our hearts full and already dreaming of coming back one day!

From the moment we stepped off the jeep and onto the conservancy, we were greeted with impeccable service! Purity, David, Nixon—just to name a few—went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable.
We enjoyed a variety of activities organized by the team, including hiking with a local guide, a stunning sundowner safari, as well as running and biking through the conservancy.
The food was absolutely phenomenal, with delicious three-course meals for both lunch and dinner, and thoughtful accommodations for vegetarians.
The tents were spacious and exceeded our expectations with private balconies and bathrooms…having the hot water bottles nestled in the our after arriving from dinner was an unbelievable nice touch!
We wholeheartedly recommend this camp—it was an unforgettable experience!

We stayed in a club tent, and we loved that it was set away from the main accommodation, so it was a bit more quiet and secluded. Our room was beautiful with large bathroom facilities and allowed plenty of space to relax. We also had access to the Olchani Lounge, which overlooked the lake. The food was exceptional, and the staff were terrific. Everyone was attentive, and having stayed for 4 nights, the lounge staff knew my partner would be looking to enjoy a beer post afternoon safari each day. To celebrate a special occasion, my partner was also surprised with a cake on our final night, which was lovely. We would highly recommend Sarova and would not hesitate to stay there again.

everything it’s absolutely beautiful, the hotel , location, staff are amazing, super friendly and nothing is a bother. we arrived late day one (our own fault) and on leaving they had a packed lunch ready for us to take as they said we had missed one of our lunches! if your looking for a authentic stay inside the Masai Mara park with the most fantastic setting wrapped around you then 100% recommend the Ashnil. we were a family of 5 - all adults and everyone adored it. lovely big swimming pool with sun lounge area ..

It was our second visit to Mara NP, but our first time sleeping within these grounds. Waking up with a river view and having zebras or hyenas or giraffes looking right across is mesmerising. The tent was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for three persons. Esmo was assigned to take care of us at meal times and he did a wonderful job. The meals were freshly prepared and very good. It was like a set menu and there was always a vegeterian option. The Masai also made us feel safe in the evening while escorting us.

Loved the Service of the staff. The driver Paul was amazing. The wait staff were brilliant. Jacinta, Jackson, Kelly, Edwin etc were so good to us. Chef Evans Was accommodating and fun. The Game drives were detailed and good. The hot-air balloon ride was a once in a lifetime thing. Cant even describe it. And the elephant that came to our window in the dead of night really made things interesting. Overall 9/10

It’s a fantastic place in an excellent location. Staff are great, the most outstanding was Sakut, our Masai guide, who helped us finding our way in the savanna and showed great experience in spotting animals.

Food is well presented and tasty however it is a bit salty.
Food is well presented and tasty however it is a bit salty. If there is tea pots, and some sweets the stay would be more relaxing. Breakfast and Lunch box we had for game drive was excellent with tasty Rosemary chicken roast. There you can find many animals during your stay in Kobe Mara, so you may feel as if you are staying in the park. What makes this camp outstanding is absolutely hospitality of the staffs. We definitely recommend this camp and we like to come back again soon.

The view and the location was definitely the best, it was...
The view and the location was definitely the best, it was quiet and calm which was relaxing.
The staff attended to all our needs and answered all the questions we had and made our stay very comfortable. The host organized the Safari drive and even gave us some stories about the Masai culture around the fire which we thought was a fun and interesting experience. We learnt a lot of interesting facts not only about the Masai people and their culture but about the animals too.
We will definitely be back again.

The place was peaceful and nice. During July, it may get a little cold inside the tents… cleanness was immaculate!

Especially for Game Drive just outside of camp you
Will see many animals. Exactly outside of your room you can walk around and enjoy with Garden and swimming pool and walking toward the Hippo pool takes 5 minutes. Staff were excellent.
Sometimes during the day the power went out.
And another things which I have to mention the quality of food can be much better.
If you pay for full board Drinks not included even water.

Mara Explorer Tented camp is awesome.
Mara Explorer Tented camp is awesome. The food was epic, the game drives were excellent and our guide was superb. One issue though is when booking all Inclusive we assumed this was all we would need to pay as this stated game drives included but it doesn’t include park fees which are an additional 100 USD per person per day so we were stuck with an extra USD 600 which we had not budgeted for. Make sure you have the means to pay the park fees in addition to any other costs. This does make it much more expensive. A cheaper alternative is the Nairobi National Park.

Great place, lots of animals, beautiful landscapes. Pity that the guides from some travel agencies are not respecting the large carnivores (lions, cheetah) and come too close. Also some guides are allowing tourists to sit on the roof of the jeep, which is forbidden as it is frightening animals.

I would recommend staying at Kambu Mara Camp in a heartbeat and plan to go back there every time! It is not a luxury camp, yet it's perfectly comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. It only offers a choice of beers and soft drinks, but perhaps they are open to you bringing your own? The staff are extremely flexible, helpful, warm and welcoming. And Chef Nelson offered the most delicious food of all my four visits to the Mara, staying and eating in different places. They also cater for vegans and vegetarians.
Kambu Mara Camp does offer to organize
safaris (they are not far from the main camp entrance), nature walks and more... Personally, I was there for the "Maasai village" experience. I would 100% recommend a visit to the village of Chief Olé Simpai. There is no set fee for visiting; you can offer whatever you feel comfortable with. They put on wonderful displays of dancing, including the jumping one, explain about their culture and show you how they make fire from two sticks!

The national park is really beautiful. went to safari for...
The national park is really beautiful. went to safari for three days and could get almost all the Animals. Missed Migartion as the Zebras were reluctant to cross the river though they have gone down few times and came up again. our driver and vehicle were very good. He had taken extra efforts to show us all the animals in Vantage points. The double horned Rhino sighting was memorable. That was the only time when we spotted a Rhino in the whole 10 days trip to four national parks. The Animals were found to be very healthy. We were not lucky enough to spot any Chasing and hunting scenes.
The National Park roads are good though little dusty. Had packed lunch from the camp.

Beautiful ensemble. Central location in Maasai Mara. About 1 hour to Mara River. The hotel needs a general renovation and is too expensive for what it is offering. Poor breakfast and coffee and only fair dinner.
