Nearby the hotel, within walking distance, are a number of convenience stores and small restaurants, a great alternative to the expensive hotel meals. The hotel was easy to find, with plenty of free undercover parking on site. Our room overlooked the verdant valley below and we had the rising sun shining through our window every morning. Our room was large, bright and airy with a nice balcony. We had all the mod cons you’d expect: AC, TV, free Wifi, fridge, electric toilet, etc. Our bed was super comfy and there was no outside noise at all so we had very good sleeps. We liked the convenience store (7-11) located in the lobby and made use of it several times. The gym is decent, but not great. For cardio gear, there are only 3 treadmills, nothing else. There are a number of decent quality weight machines, a set of dumbbells (to 20kg) and an adjustable bench. The front came out to greet and welcome us for our stay. We were welcomed with chocolate and fresh squeezed Hallabong orange juice. The front walked us to our room and helped with our luggage. Super duper friendly! On top of that, when I came down to do laundry, the front even walked to the laundry room with me to show me how to use the settings. There are many places to see in Seogwipo and lots of places to linger more. We had a great all day tour through Jeju Namyang Travel with Mr. Kang as our guide. He took us all over the area. He was friendly and informative and made sure to take lots of pictures of us. Jeju is a great holiday destination that caters to all.
Jeju is a great holiday destination that caters to all. We were a group of three between 29-33 years old. Great and diverse food, amazing nature, great hiking trails, amazing beaches, locals who are used to both domestic and foreign tourists (+-13.000.000 a year) and competitive ferry pricing with eg Hanil ferries which you can easily book from 30 bucks round trip. Book the third class and proceed to chill on deck and in the on board restaurant as the trip is a mere 2.5 hours. Jeju city has a lot to offer, but the city in the south is also great (Seogwepo). If you feel like dining at the beach there are a lot of niche options like beach club Vadada and born to be burger/pizza at the pool and football stadium. Summarized we did not have enough on our long weekend trip there. 10/10.Guest review byDajsamNetherlands
