A special thank you to Danushka for giving us the best start to our Sri Lanka trip. Everything is possible and doable here, and you are truly well taken care of! The air conditioning worked perfectly, we slept wonderfully (loved that we had a duner), and the bathroom had hot water. Perfect accommodation near the airport, a peaceful oasis surrounded by nature, with spacious bungalows in excellent condition and very clean. The bed is very comfortable, and the room includes air conditioning, hot water, a good internet connection, a hammock, and chairs outside.     Everything. From the warm welcome and room upgrade by Kennedy to the amazing F&B staff and products and the all round warmth and kindness from everyone. The best all-round hospitality I've experienced and I travel alot. The room was amazing and had everything you could need (except maybe a bedside lamp). Ground floor so I could walk straight onto the beach and easily access both pools. All rooms are sea facing. I had an incredible Kandyan massage at the Sky Spa and even tried the Seafood restaurant on site, recommended by Arun Lakmal. Literally all the meals, breakfast to dinner, were great. The hotel is sustainably run for the most part and reasonably priced. It's also in the main "fun" road so everything is accessible. Kudos also to the maintenance, security and the lifeguards who all made me feel very taken care of and comfortable. I couldn't ask for a better introduction to Sri Lanka and just 30 minutes from the airport. I genuinely did not want to leave and if I have any cash left after touring the country, this will be my last hotel too.

    Our stay at Amagi Aria Airport Transit Hotel was the perfect way to end our journey across Sri Lanka. It was our final stop, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and unwind after a long trip and before our departure from Ceylon.The hotel offers spacious, elegant rooms with balconies that provide a stunning view of the lagoon. What truly made our stay exceptional was the warm hospitality and professional support of Prasanka, the front desk manager, whose kindness and attention to detail made everything seamless. It was a truly memorable experience we will always cherish.

    Apartments were very clean, and staff were always available and friendly. Swimming pool was open 24/7 and kids had an enjoyable stay. Location was convenient and there was an island feel. The apartments were facing the beach side, hence at night the sound of waves are heard which created a calming and a relaxing atmosphere. Food was available outside within a short walking distance.

    Negombo is the perfect place to stay on your first or last day of your trip in Sri Lanka. It's really close to the airport, it has a nice beach, and there are a lot of good hotels. There's no tourist attraction around, but there's a few good restaurants also.

    Katunayake is a convenient location for travelers, especially those flying in or out of Bandaranaike International Airport. It’s a busy area with easy access to transportation and essential services, making it ideal for short stays before or after a flight. I stayed at Hello Airport Hotel during my time in Katunayake, and it was a great choice. The hotel is just a few minutes from the airport, which made it perfect for my early morning departure. The location couldn’t be better for transit passengers. The check-in was smooth, the staff were polite, and the room was clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, convenient stop near the airport, I’d definitely recommend Hello Airport Hotel.

    The owner, Mr Nelson was extremely helpful from the time he picked me up from the airport until the last minute of my stay. Specially, in the midst of the Sri Lankan curfew. Thank you. I recommend this place for anyone in the future.

    The host was very kind and helpful. He received us very happily. The next day at 6.00 in the morning he prepared for us nice delicious tea, before we left to the Airport. We will recommend this house to our friends and waiting to stay at such a nice calm and quiet place close to the Airport again.

    I hear from others Negombo was great area for the visitors also it is closer to CMB airport that was the reason I selected there. After I explore the area there are so many nice hotels are there to book and also heard down south area is becoming a good spot for the tourism than Negombo.

    We stayed here overnight after travelling around Sri Lanka. We did not expect the warmth and kindness we received. The room was very cheap, yet large, clean and the proprietor even gave us lifts locally to the shops etc.

    I like most of the thing is staff's response was excellent and very quiet and peaceful room. The hotel must be implemented to do below the mentioned points. 1: The hotel room needs to keep a dustbin. 2: The hotel must keep a bath towel inside the bathroom. 3; The Bathroom inside the slippers needs to be kept. Other than this everything is ok.

    Perfect one/two nights on arrival take a tuktuk tour its worth it and last night before you leave. Negombo is 30 mins to the main SRI Lankan Airport, much close than Colombo. Also all hotels have UK plug sockets which is useful

    I arrived too early BUT, as a result, had a GREAT pedicure and head/neck massage, about an hour in all. Perfect preparation for a 10.5 hour flight to London. Recommended go early snd indulge yourself.
