We enjoyed our stay so much. The quietness, the nature, the view on the mountain from balcony. Super nice staff. We walked from hotel 2 km to sinharaya rainforest unesco heritage entrance. We were mesmerized by the nature in the rainforest and the surrounding. The hotel is a Super place.

Sinharaja Forest Lodge is the perfect getaway for nature lovers! The lodge is nestled right next to the Sinharaja rainforest, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. Jansen is a peaceful, comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and welcome. By far the best part was the pool and the forest views from the bedrooms. Very peaceful, I'd be happy to stay again.

Family run pension - the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Amazing location! This is a proper hideaway - the bungalows are located away from any road (the hosts would pick you up with their 4x4 from the village but you'll have to follow the narrow pathway also to reach a beautiful river cascade at the doorstep of your tiny house. Perfect place to watch nature (eagles, kingfishers, peacocks, magpies, barking deer). The family provides really good, home cooked meals, fresh juices and desserts. Treks and activities are also available. Highly recommended for anyone craving an adventure and to connect with nature.

The whole experience was amazing. From the warm welcom through the beautiful room with great view.
And Hemel , the owner that is a gifted guide to the rainforest.
So kind and nice and at the same time knowlagble and quick to spot every living thing.
They are a young couple with a little girl that own and run this amazing g place.
For us, it eas the high light of our Sri lankan adventure

Amazing experience!
Amazing experience! It's a hidden gem in Sri Lanka and will cater for every type of need. You love nature but dont want to hike, this is the place to go. You want to hike in the Singharaja forest? Well this is the best place to stay. You just want to be with your loved one? Nothing can beat this place. The bunglow itself is an art in the middle of the forest, packed with memories from the past but also with all modern day amenities to make you comfortable. Above all, the staffs are exceptionally good and will ensure you have personalised experience all the time. They will know yoir need even before you notice. I woild like to thank Lasith for his exceptionally hospitality. I have been to many places but never found someone like him.
