This was by far the best hotel we have stayed in as far as we can remember, we believe current rating (7.6?) does not do it justice since we would give it 10 stars. Everything was excellent, from huge family rooms (74 m2!), to food (French food with choice also on Indian, Asian etc), kids club - our kids were 3&5 (opened from 10-22.00, with possibility of kids dining with them so you can enjoy dinner alone), many fun activities. We also tried spa (husband had great massage), yoga (nice), family treasure hunt and many other activities. Facilities are great (pool, kids pool), resort is clean, well maintained, staff is beyond nice. We were on HB package and it suit us well, we ate lunch extra at resort every day and we do not find food pricey (European prices), drinks are a bit pricey (9 euros for beer), but still a lot cheaper than Dubai 5 star resorts we tried before. Husband also arranged for kitesurfing lessons (10minutes away, in the next resort) and we have to admit Mauritius is even kitesurfing paradise, flat lagoon, no people (2-4 kitesurfers at the time), great instructor. We hope to be back to Outrigger soon with 3 kids, we saw many big families and the extra kids room can fit 3-4 kids easily + they gifted us many free coffees, ice cream was free all the time, which is a nice gesture. Overall, 10/10, thank you very much for everything! PS: We even got early check in and late check out, so basically we got to stay there 8 days and paid for 7 nights. Excellent price/value ratio on 2nd week of January, looking at prices, first week of January would be too expensive and March and April as well, but we got great nightly rate and think it was totally worth the money.

This one was the most atmospheric place where we stayed during our two-week holiday in Mauritius. For a very convenient price we spent three nights in a comfortable bungalow located within a garden full of palmtrees and coconuts, an exotic paradise only 10 minutes away from the airport (by car). It is a great accommodation option for the last days of one’s trip to the Mauritius as you’re right next to the airport, you’ll get to your flight in no time. Waking up and going to sleep surrounded by lush vegetation is bliss, at night you’ll be able to see flying foxes going from one tree to another, and you might find a buddy in the cute gold dust day gecko that might find a way to come inside your bungalow and quietly stay on one of its walls. Just like in other places, like Bali, they’re totally harmless and there is zero chance they would get on your bed. Be kind to them and allow them to share the room with you, they just want to eat mosquitos, flies and other insects.

I really liked the location, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms, the intimate location, the fussy and tidy staff, the delicious food, the quality of cleaning in the room, the well-groomed territory, the coastline, the presence of corals right next to the hotel.. In general, everything is at the highest level! I will definitely come back with my family!

Very nice guest house on the best spot for shnorkeling in Maurititus. Very kind stuff, good breakfast with everything you need, beautiful beach. They propose us to use a transfer room for our late check out free of charge which was very comfortable.

Everything!! I celebrated my birthday there and the staff was more than nice, the resort is beautiful, it met my expectations! Special thanks to the masseuse Fabiana who gave me the best massage ever !

Honestly nothing could have prepared me for the exceptional service and incredible facilities at this resort. It was unbelievablely good!!! Blown away by the food, drinks and beautiful location.

I do not know how paradise looks like but I hope its like Shanti Maurice We do not know how kings and queens are treated in hotels but me and my wife sure felt like it at Shanti Maurice

the nature , very beautiful , its private and quite unique experience not more than two days. the restaurant menu have not variety but the food is very delicious and not expensive.

Absolutely spectacular! Friendly, professional staff who go above and beyond. Fabulous well equipped villas surrounded by excellent facilities and beauty.

Good hotel with nice dining area next to the sea side. Tasty meals, good coffee and drinks. Water activities for free (glass bottom boat etc).
