Having traveled extensively across the Maldives, I can confidently say that Bageecha Stay is the best guesthouse I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it felt like home, thanks to the incredible hospitality and warm atmosphere created by the host, Ismael, and his exceptional team. Ismael went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect. His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the island, and genuine care for his guests made my stay unforgettable. Whether organizing activities or sharing insights about local life, his passion for hospitality truly shone through. Every meal was a masterpiece, combining fresh local ingredients with remarkable skill and creativity. From mouthwatering Maldivian delicacies to innovative international dishes, each bite was a treat. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve had in the Maldives, and I looked forward to every meal during my stay. We recently had a pleasure of staying at Isla Retreat and we were truly impressed by the attention to detail throughout the property. It was clear that the owners have thoughtfully considered every aspect of guest comfort. The room was equipped with everything that each guest might need – from a small refrigerator and air conditioning to high-quality toilet articles. We were also pleasantly surprised to find yoga mats and a beach bag, which showed how much they care about catering to a variety of guest needs. We cannot mention enough how comfortable the bed was! The room itself was spacious, clean and beautifully designed, offering a great balance of comfort and style. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth, and we even got a small excursion of the island. Another great feature was the cleanliness. The room was cleaned twice a day, which kept everything fresh and tidy during our stay. The food was delicious and well-prepared, though we would suggest expanding the menu a bit for more variety, especially for longer stays. That said, every meal we had was flavorful and satisfying. The Bikini Beach on the island was quiet and secluded, making it a great spot for a peaceful getaway. The calm atmosphere and beautiful views made it a perfect place to relax. A big thank you to the wonderful staff (Aku, Putu, Ismail, and all the other guys whose names we didn't catch) for making our stay so enjoyable. Your warmth and attention to detail truly made a difference, and we look forward to returning!

Dharavandhoo I liked the fact that it was wider and cleaner than any other accommodation. The most important thing in the accommodation was the cozy bed and the water pressure in the shower. Above all, I was moved by the accommodation staff who responded in real time through WhatsApp. I was able to enjoy a variety of excursions.

Warming and helpful staff. The room was clean and renovated.we chose an indoor one, and others have patio or balcony. The restaurant was perfect, the owner fully understood our problem coming late. Location is great

We really enjoyed staying here. It was a good choice, and we met amazingly friendly people, experience that totally missed afterwards, when we went to an island resort. In this place we found the possibility of experiencing more of Maldivian lifestyle, try local food, and got nice affordable trips for the sand banks and the coral garden. We learned so much from the team of this hotel, they were so passionate about the beauty of the nature, and they were eager to share with us, we truly want to return someday.

The food is excellent, the rooms are comfortable, and the beach is very close and impeccably maintained. The kindness and humanity of the staff are captivating, and the island residents are also wonderful. The programs offered by the accommodation are varied; we were lucky enough to see manta rays and whale sharks, and they even organized custom programs upon request. They did everything to ensure we had a great time, and when we needed help due to illness, they immediately took care of everything. Thank you very much!
