- From $836.55 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 2,266 reviewsIt’s made up of 3 islands linked among them, each you can walk all around in about 1 hour, with all shades of blue, turquoise, green crystal clear waters. There is also one lagoon in the middle with amazing colours. Inside the islands the vegetation is well taken care and the distribution of rooms so well done that they all have privacy and you get the feeling the island when walking the beaches that it is half empty. During the night there are several bars, bands playing and shows to entertain guests, some with spontaneous dancing as well. Breakfast is abundant, very variegated and high quality. The pastries and desserts of all breakfast, lunch and dinner were totally out of the world, with endless assortments of French, Italian delicacies. I booked a luxury water village, and is really luxurious and enormous, with even a bidet! Bed is very comfortable, all amenities ticked. And in case something is missing, there are 3 super friendly girls with the biggest smile, Amsu, Asmira amd Maasha, that come by every afternoon to enquire if anything is needed. They are also in charge of cleaning, which is also done in a faultless way. Yousif was my hotel host, taking care of such details as remembering my nationality and letting me have Argentina food sent to my room from the chief Argentinian chef of the hotel. And Gabriel, the Argentina chef, I met several times and he kept making sure to send me other Argentina delicacies to my room with that typical south American warmth, that can make space among so many of his tasks, to care about something like that. I would like to mention also Mohamed, the waiter that attended to me remembering all details with a smile that made you feel home. Marizza, the girl at the entrance of the restaurant, with an amazing memory, she could remember among other 300 people my room number already on second day. Al Amin, the bellboy found me here and there on his way with his cart and took me closer to where I was going with the warmest smile everGuest review byEliana IT/ARGItaly
- From $3,794.97 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 104 reviewsWe had an unforgettable stay at One&Only, and it was made even more special thanks to the incredible team who went above and beyond at every turn. Maricel at the souvenir shop was truly outstanding—warm, attentive, and proactive, she helped us find the perfect keepsakes with genuine care and thoughtful service. Eugene, our Villa Host, was simply the best. Always present yet never intrusive, he ensured everything flowed smoothly, from small comforts to special requests. But the true highlight of our trip was the dive experience with Mo. He brought the ocean to life, guiding us through exhilarating encounters with manta rays and reef sharks, and even helping us upgrade our PADI licenses to adventure dives. His passion, expertise, and calm presence underwater made it a memory we’ll carry forever. Every member of the One&Only staff contributed to the magic of our stay. From start to finish, we felt welcomed, cared for, and truly at home in paradise. Thank you all for the experience of a lifetime.Guest review byKrystlePhilippines

- From $960.80 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 617 reviewsBeautiful, laid back, quiet resort. So many wonderful little things that we loved. They have an ice cream cart that drives around and gives free ice cream daily, they provide flip flops that imprint their name in the sand, they have an amazing pool that sparkles at night, they offer movies outdoors on the sand, and you can connect to your personal Netflix/Amazon Prime accounts for the days you just want to stay in, and the staff at this fabulous resort go above and beyond to please! The beaches are spectacular and the beds were super comfy! The food is decadent at all 5 restaurants with lots of options. There is nothing one could complain about!!! We will be going back❤️Guest review byRayAustralia
- From $511.06 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 393 reviewsAmazing landscapes, delicious food (each day would bring sth new), wonderful, always smiled and ready to help people, reef near the hotel (colourful fish, turtles, sharks and mantas). Rooms cleaned every day, towels changed each day, trip from/to the aiport organized, so just after leaving Arrivals Zone at the airport we were taken care of. Lizzards, bats, tropical birds and a hen ;). No need to wear shoes while walking on the island. No crowds, peace and quiet. Would love to come back there one day....Guest review byEwelinaPoland

The rooms are breathtaking and the beds are so comfortable, they are always kept clean and work around you when to clean the rooms. The food was sensational with so many options and cuisines. The buggy service is quick if you need to get about. The beach is paradise. I just cannot wait to go back. My son was tuning 6 and the way they decorated the room was beyond my expectations also. Staff are so helpful and go above and beyond for you.Guest review byJessicaUnited Kingdom

One of the most beautiful places in the world.
One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.Guest review byÁkosHungary - 10.0

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.Guest review byNigelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!Guest review byInaNorway - 10.0
We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!Guest review byClannyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!Guest review byLaurenL97United Kingdom - 8.0
It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach.
It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.Guest review byVladimirSerbia - 10.0

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !Guest review byDarinaSlovakia - 10.0

Huraa immediately felt peaceful, unique and refreshing, with serene beaches, stunning views, vibrant coral reefs, and lush green mangrove swamps that makes the island feel untouched. The shallow lagoons connecting to nearby spots, mangroves, and quiet corners create a sense of calm, while watching seaplanes land adds a unique charm. The island is vibrant yet uncrowded, offering a perfect balance of natural beauty and tranquility that makes every moment relaxing and memorable.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
