CanadaHow am I going to put into words how absolutely wonderful Kifaru Bush Camp was??
One can not but feel welcome when you are personally greeted by Natalia Nailenge as you step out of the vehicle.Welcome rooibos tea cocktails offered by a smiling Hambeleleni Nakapandi.
Dinner was from heaven for Chef Selma E Shigwedha prepared exeptional Oryx steaks with beautiful side dishes after our evening drive.

I booked an evening drive but only morning drives are done, but these two young people went above and beyond to make an evening drive possible and Richardo had lovely sundowner drinks and snacks ready and available on our arrival at the viewing area.
Johannes controlled everything fire, from the inviting camp fire on arrival back from our drive to every room's boiler fire for our hot water.
Not only was our visit and drive fantastic, it was also educational.
Amber and Tristan shared their passion for protecting the rhino in their care and about the 'Rhino Momma Project"
'More time to visit' is definitely on my list for next time.

Ons was tuis en op ons gemak.
Gerhard en Hellaine is 2 fantastiese en gasvrye bestuurders en voel soos ou vriende!

HEERLIKE, keurige kos!

United KingdomDanjan and Anita are both wonderful hosts. We felt very welcome at the guest farm and wanted for nothing. They were very knowledgable about the area and it’s history and it was interesting to hear a local farmers perspective.
The breakfast and dinner were both excellent and better than most of the commercial lodges we stayed at. Anita baked lovely fresh bread for each meal.
The view from the chalet was beautiful and the room itself was huge and well equipped. It says not self catering but there is a small kitchen and you could make some meals if you really wanted.
We would definitely stay again

We spent two nights here…it was the right amount of time to...
We spent two nights here…it was the right amount of time to view animals in Etosha National Park. The terrain here (unlike Numatoni) is vast and flat. Animals are few and far between but with persistance and great binoculars we spotted a Black Rhinocerous, elephants, zebra, springbok, oryx, giraffe, ostriches, and 1 lion, all during daylight hours. The food is best OUTSIDE the park. There is NO fuel in the ENTIRE park! The “Trading Post” is the nearest fuel to this village (less than 10km). We were disappointed by the extremely bad roads in the park. There is no information about the rugged dirt roads in the park. We were happy to leave the park without an accident or car broken. Outjo is not a very clean town but ideal stop over for travelers on their way to or from Etosha. Visitors can also by essential supplies for their on-going travels.
