We loved everything. Absolutely brilliant. Step back in time with 100% modern additions. Could be used in an Agatha Christie movie. Authentic art deco 1900s beauty. If you can book the suit it’s bigger than a house. Staff are so friendly and attentive. We have travelled the world and stayed 5* in so many locations and nothing comes close to this hotel. Loved every second of our stay.

Villa Wiese is run by amazing people who are hospitable and caring. We spent there two nights enjoying the time. It is located not so far from the oceanline. It takes about 10-15 min to reach nice shops and restaurants.

The hotel was amazing - the Seaview room, the location right infront of the beach, the restaurant, the staffs. There are all amazing. Highly recommend if you are in swakopmund. Good to book upfront - room and restaurant as they are always fully booked on high season. I have a great stay here.

    What a secret garden indeed. Great security and the rooms arranged around an internal courtyard were very well equipped and thought through. Our suite with terrace was a self catering apartment; very comfortable with a little lounge and kitchen. Inga was most helpful and booked us into a local restaurant for dinner. There were many lovely pieces of art reflecting her parents as gallery owners. Highly recommended for a stay in Swakopmund which deserved more than a night to explore. Our vehicle was also secure in a parking lot opposite the hotel. Location was great near to the centre but very quiet at night.

    Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance.

    Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. I visited Swakopmund 20 years ago and the only issue I found worrysome this time around was the many hustlers trying to force their offerings for sale. The jetty also needs some urgent maintenance.

    the museum which was recommended by the hotel was really worth a visit we spent a whole morning there and learnt so much about Namibia and its people as well as Swakopmund. the walk along the pier though very windy was worth the experience.

    The crystal museum is a must see.

    The crystal museum is a must see. Stadtmitte Cafe serves exceptional food (well worth the wait). The manageress at the Mermaid Casino was extremely rude, impolite and disrespectful when we attempted to leave the premises with a can of Coca Cola that we had purchased within the premises much to the embarrassment of the security personnel who apologised profusely to us on our departure.
