The room was really cool! Nice big room with big bed and lovely bathroom with a bath and shower and plenty of room in it. The location is brilliant! It's about 15 minutes walk from the centre but is in its own little area with lots of bars and restaurants and is very close to the canal. I loved walking in and out of the main city as the walk is along a canal in a very pleasant part of the town.

The style of this property is very beautiful, very calm with soft colors, and a mid-century modern vibe with its choice of furniture. It is simple, elegant and elevated. Although located near the train tracks, we did not once hear trains passing. It was so quiet. The staff is discreet, friendly and professional. The restaurant is also noteworthy, absolutely delicious, with a menu different from the usual italian restaurant, while staying true to its origins. This place is definitely recommended!

The host Hans is very welcoming and accomodating. The room was so clean and spacious and very nicely decorated. Every day it would be cleaned and amenities topped up. We loved having a coffee machine in the room and a balcony over looking the main street. The location is perfect with the main strip of resturaunts about a minute walk away. Thanks very much!

    The whole area was beautiful with so much entertaining for kids on hand with many playgrounds around. I almost cancelled our booking after reading many reviews about it being dirty, that was not our experience at all, we found no faults with cleanliness. And the chalet had the perfect setup for our family. We were 4 adults and 2 children and we all want to return at some point. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

    The staff members were very kind and patient, Especially Shaniz- in which helped us with changing rooms due to our criteria (of need due to disability) Breakfast had wide varieties to eat from for anyone, and very delicious, been there for 6 days and the options were never boring! The parking is underground in which was very comfortable in rainy days, and cheap.

    Amersfoort is a small but very charming city.

    Amersfoort is a small but very charming city. If you are a fan of the painter Mondrian, it is a definite destination, as hi childhood home is now a very interesting museum dedicate to his life and work. That water-castle that always shows up on pictures of the town is somewhat misleading, on the pictures it looks like a castle but it's not very large. The canals are very charming ans you should definitely take one of the canal boat rides. The canal boat and the Mondrian house were the two high points of the visit.

    Zeist is a small town with a lot of shops and restaurants (also for take-away), a lot of options. You can walk in the forrest, shop, enjoy culture, go to Utrecht. You can go there by car, train of bus very easily

    Breukelen is a nice and quiet town.

    Breukelen is a nice and quiet town. The town is in walking distance from the Hotel and has train connections to Amsterdam and other cities. The town is good for walking tour and sitting down in the parks. We ate at one Vietnamese restaurant and the food is very good. There are other nice restaurants with different dishes. We like walking and this town is perfect for it.

    I needed to stay somewhere not far from where I needed to...

    I needed to stay somewhere not far from where I needed to attend and had stayed in Utrecht before but so many shop must be card payments and of course my holiday wallet I must have dropped on the train and someone asked me if I lost my mobile and mine ewas in my bag, didn't realise I had dropped the wallet until I was about to leave the train so I guess because the wallet was the same size as an mobile he thought it was one no one handed it in at the station ticket office or the lost and found so he is now 160 euros richer. It has changed a lot since the last time I was there

    Amersfoort is a beautiful historic city. Shopping is great, lovely christmas decorations around town and a cute square with cafe's. We enjoyed a lunch at Broei - delicious vegan food. Also went to Petit Marie for dinner, French a la carte menu, absolutely fantastic service and here again delicious food. Getting around Amersfoort is easy, everything is pretty much walking distance.
