- From US$191.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,218 reviewsI checked in around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. Check in was fast due to small queue. I was given a room on the 14th floor right in front of the elevator. The windows were facing the sunrise east. The view looks sad. The hills looked barren with no grass and the clouds looked grey. Then things went wrong further when I tried to use the safe. When I keyed in a password, it started beeping non stop! I think it has a battery problem. There were no telephone in the room so I had to go down to tell the reception to fix the safe. However, she instead gave me another room on the same floor. This time I got room 1409. This time the room window was facing west. Much better as I could see snow capped mountains and the parked yatches at the harbour. I liked that the room has a TV with some decent channels. Was able to watch some performers on Eurovision but I turned it off because the performances were so weird. I liked the shower facilities. It came with towels, soap, hair dryer, waste bins, tissue box and a place to hang your towels. No bathtub but its ok. The room was carpeted which was nice on the feet. I didn't ask the room cleaning lady to clean my room but I did throw my trash in the trolley bin once every 2 days with my own trash bag. I also liked the elevator. It was fast to arrive. The breakfast spread was royalty standard. My favourite was the scrambled eggs, baked beans, baked potatoes, salad, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, smoked salmon, yogurt, apple juice and hot chocolate. It opens at 6.30am on weekdays but they actually open the doors 5 minutes earlier. Travelling around Bodø was easy as there are many electric scooters around like Tier and Ryde. Overall, I was initially contemplating to choose either Raddison Blu or Comfort Hotel but Scandic Havet is more peaceful with better views and breakfast. The location is also better. I also liked that the Grocery stores (REMA 1000 and EUROSPAR) are all nearby. The airport is walking distance.Guest review byFirdausSingapore
- From US$225.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,694 reviewsEverything!!! I booked Economy cabin and I had not private bathroom but public bathroom was super clean, the shower floor was heated. The atmosphere in the camp was super cozy and the cabins are beautiful The distance to the city centre was short, about above 10 minute with the bus, only few stations We have posibilites to eat there breakfast/ lunch or do it yourself because the kitchen is equiped with everything from microwave to oven. And the most amazing part was the chance to see aurora from the camp even I booked a chasing tour. Choose this camp, you'll not regret this decision!!! This was our cozy home for 3 days.Guest review byCristina AlexandraRomania
- From US$160.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,388 reviewsReally nice studio. Stayed in the upper floor . Facing west side of the sky I watched the Aurora dancing from the sofa of the living room. Excellent breakfast buffet as well. Tried the Hot tub completely value for money although the water temperature was around 35 ( Would be better if it around 40 , not complaining though) . The property also has lots of parking spaces with Electrical charging . Overall a 10/10 stay.Guest review byArijitSweden

Lovely small city, buses are fantastic.
Lovely small city, buses are fantastic. Not a lot to do there wouldn’t stay more than 3 days. Airport signage not good, public bus pickup point was unlit and scary to be at at nighttime. AirPort Express bus doesn’t have enough buses on at night.Guest review byMaree - 10.0

Bodø isnt a common or popular tourist destination for most visitors to Norway but it has a lot to offer, from restaurants, beaches, nature hikes and excursions, northern lights, and of course not to forget Saltstraumen. It is colder than other cities in Norway as it is the windiest city in Norway, so be prepared for that.Guest review byMax - 10.0

Beautiful home and the perfect amount of space for a group of 5 friends travelling together. Location was wonderful and several steps away from a grocery store (Coop). Kitchen was fully functional and a cozy living room to unwind in. Thank you for a wonderful stay!Guest review byJannica87Canada - 10.0
A gateway to other areas like Lofoten.
A gateway to other areas like Lofoten. My recommendation is to stay further afield to the full extent you can. as things like quiet, darkness and views all improve a lot away from the airport. And once you do... it can be magic.Guest review byPeterNew Zealand - 8.0
We loved the beauty of the city.
We loved the beauty of the city. Tourist information staff were very friendly and helpful with information for sightseeing. War museum is excellently presented. Gondola ride to the top of Narvikfjellet is a must to see the beautiful sights from above Buses were easy to use and the plenty of shopping centres. We loved all the memorial statues, a beautiful city. We also took a ride on the Arctic Train, suggest this is a day time trip to see the amazing scenery.Guest review byChezAustralia - 10.0

We chose Alta, the City of Northern Lights, to "Hunt the Aurora Borealis". We were NOT disappointed. It was a magical experience. Lots of beautiful northern lights shows. We did a number of activities: night time horse drawn sleigh ride and dinner; king crab fishing experience; tour of the Ice Hotel at Sorrisniva; dog sled ride at Holmen Husky. We stayed at a canvas dome in GLOD, with the most amazing guide to see the Northern Lights. We stayed in a forest suite at Holmen Husky. The place was incredible and the way they treat the dogs will completely change your thoughts on the sport of dog sledding. They were the sweetest and happiest dogs I've ever seen. We stayed at Flatmoen Natur Lodge, which is a family owned and ran farm. Each lodge has their own private, outdoor jacuzzi so you can sit outside while the snow is falling or hope to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.Guest review bycmayes80United States - 10.0

The central location of Leknes on the Lofoten Islands was great for exploring the south and north. Shopping and dining were within walking distance of the apartment. I had a tasty fish and chips at the Diggs restaurant. The Bunpass grocery store had a lot to offer, and they had the best cinnamon rolls!Guest review byTeacher90Switzerland - 10.0

Tromsø is an amazing city; it’s known for being at great place to catch the northern lights but it’s also got lots of culture and flavor. For a smaller city, it’s got ample bars, festivals, restaurants, and easily accessible nature, that make it outrival many big cities. Catch a football game, hike a mountain, or drink beer from the world’s northernmost brewery while you’re waiting for the aurora :)Guest review byAnonymous
