Lots to see and do in Christchurch.
Lots to see and do in Christchurch. We had 2 full days to explore and managed to see/do the hop-on/hop-off tram, punting on the Avon, the gondola (plus walk from the top down to Lyttleton), the earthquake museum, the cardboard cathedral, New Regent St, Riverside Market and a stroll around the beautiful botanic gardens. Ran out of time to visit the Art Gallery and Willowbank Wildlife Park which were on our list.Guest review byCarolynAustralia - 10.0

I have been Late Tekapo 3 times, it is more expensive than it was. My recommendation is, stargazing is the only reason to make you stay in Lake Tekapo. Otherwise you could find a better and less expensive accomodation nearby.Guest review byAnonymousAustralia - 10.0

Very Pretty, lots of places to have a coffee or drinks, enjoyed a drink on the waterfront looking at a amazing view, also scenic drive to Lake Hawea and went as far as the lookout when the road takes you to top of Lake Wanaka.Would of loved to had more time to do some short walks.Guest review byLynleyAustralia - 10.0

A very pretty little town on Lake Te Anau, with the snow covered mountains of Fiorland National Park as the back drop. Plenty of eateries many right on the lake. Supermarkets and specialty shops. Beautiful walks. Hiking trails if you're looking for that. Jaw droppingly beautiful scenery everywhere. A 2 hour drive to Milford Sound or take a bus tour. Tours from Queenstown stop off in Te Anau to collect passengers & drop back on return trip. This was what we did and it was so much easier than travelling all the way from Queenstown. Te Anau is a nice and worthwhile drive from Invercargill. We just loved Te Anau. It was all and more that I'd hoped for!Guest review byLee-AnneAustralia - 10.0

We went on the whale watch and the tour was very informative and saw lots of wild life, whales, seals, birds including an albatross and 2 different species of dolphins. I will always have this as a beautiful memory on our trip to New Zealand ❤️Guest review bymartineUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food...
Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.Guest review byKimNew Zealand - 8.0

The welcome from Victoria was excellent and the information she supplied was very helpful, we stayed in the different pools a total of six hours until they closed at 7pm, The day was overcast with intervals of sunshine, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and some thing to wrap around you if wind is blowing, excellent place to visit for us oldies or if you have kids of all ages,Guest review byDavidson - 10.0
I found Invercargill an interesting place.
I found Invercargill an interesting place. You wouldn't call it a pulsing metropolis but it is very pleasant. I particularly enjoyed the city's older architecture and it is a good base for exploring further out. The people were very friendly also.Guest review byBevanNew Zealand
