- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,078 reviewsThe staff were very helpful and friendly. We were treated very well. We had a room in the Lodge and loved it. The shower was great, and the kitchenette was well supplied. Lots of nice towels and our room was serviced when we wanted. There's a laundry for guests The view from our room was fantastic, overlooking a beautiful garden area as well as the soccer fields and the beach area. We were steps from 3 pubs, all a little different from each other, although we favored Smugglers because of its extensive options and a terrific lunch special. Close to everything anyone could need. Tahunanui Beach offers lots of activities for adults and children and only a short 5 to 10 minute walk away. Such a perfect location. Highly recommend staying here.Guest review byvickiCanada
- From US$175.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 405 reviewsFrom what I saw on the booking site I wad very confident that I would like the property. That turned out to be an understatement it was excellent. The accommodation was large in a beautiful location that overlooked the Kaiteriteri beach. That there was a swimming pool (indoor and out), hot tubs and the breakfast was excellent was icing on the cake. I highly recommend in fact youd be mad to stay anywhere else.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom
- From US$57.39 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 765 reviewsThe hosts were very friendly and mixed with all walks of life very easily. The food in the restaurant was beyond our expectations- better than many city restaurants. The room was very comfortable, clean and warm. You can walk to the river from the property and watch all the whitebaiters or talk to the cows. Highly recommended and can’t wait to go back.Guest review byLisaNew Zealand

Very quiet with restaurants a short 3 minute walk away. Very clean and comfortable. Small, as expected, but most of our time was spent sitting outside watching the sea. Good shower and facilities with a fridge and kettle. Loved it.Guest review byElaineUnited Kingdom

Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.Guest review byKimNew Zealand - 10.0

I have added some images of McNabb's point, just a stones throw further down the road from our accommodation at Eden's Edge. Motueka is beautiful with surprising vistas always around the corner. Packs big punch for a little town,Guest review bySusan - 10.0

You go to Kaiteriteri for the awesome views, beach and water. There is good walking/hiking paths nearby. It was not overly crowded at the beginning of March but the water was still swimmable. Very close to Abel Tasman which is great.Guest review byBonnieUnited States - 8.0

We arrived in Marahau in order to walk on the Abel Tasman track. It is a small township, and we enjoyed walking down to the bay for the sunset. We had chosen the Aqua taxi to transport us up to the start of our walk, and enjoyed the efficiency and novelty of that experience. Just a warning to other travellers, By mid May, the little township is settling in for the ‘off’ season, which means that there are fewer grocery and eating options. We had been forewarned and had collected groceries at Motueka.Guest review bySneddleAustralia - 8.0

Takaka is a fantastic location that gives good access to beaches all around the area, and the lovely Pupu Springs and Farwell Spit. The people in the town were lovely and friendly. We had the best vegetarian burgers, even better than our Ferg burgers from Queenstown! We all felt so safe and just enjoyed our time there. The drive over the Takaka Hill was a great experience, both in the misty rain and in beautiful sunshine.Guest review byTaemaro TravellerNew Zealand - 10.0

We love this beach - especially in winter! It is also very close to some special places - Tata and Ligar Beaches, the Wainui Falls, the Grove Reserve and more - always something new to discover. Molly Bs is to be reccommended…and the cafes of Takaka are not far away.Guest review byPeterNew Zealand
