- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 240 reviewsFantastic apartment! We will stay here again if we come back to Waiheke! Perfectly located to walk to town in 2 minutes or the beach in 5 mins. You can see the beach from the apartment (villa 10) and everything was so clean and inviting. It was a pleasure to stay here, the bus stops is 1 minute walk away and it takes 5 minutes to get to the ferry (via bus) and only 25 mins if you’re walking. Close to all the amenities and restaurants, well worth staying here and a fantastic base for doing wine tours!Guest review byMillieUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 150 reviewsVery clean, spacious and comfortable stay. The appartment really has everything you could think of! Like beachtowels, insectspray, washingmachine including liquids etc. etc.! Anything I could think of, it was there ;) Perfect for a stay with 2 young kids! The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and also very easy going and flexible. We got a lot of good recommendations from Bruce and we all liked them. So definitely recommend to stay here!Guest review byNicoleNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 238 reviewsThe owners are right in warning about the steep hill to get to the cottage, but you end up with the best view. Once at the top you have preferred use of a picnic table and a wooden bench. The unit was as described. Very comfortable and had all the amenities required. Loved our stay.Guest review byJacquesCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 70 reviewsThe cottage was so beautiful and quaint. I loved the breathtaking views that surrounded us. Even though it was very cold, the cottage was lovely and warm. Thank you to hosts for the bottle of champagne that was in fridge. It certainly went down well.Guest review byZeldaAustralia

Lovely little town with quite a few shops an lots of good spots to eat. The little gelato shop at the top of the hill is great and Oyster Inn a highlight. the island grocery shop has great bread and other food as well as coffee and some take away items.Guest review byCarolynAustralia - 8.0

Probably not a popular destination compared to others on the island, suited us though. Good range of shops. The Woolworths supermarket was a bonus as far as buying groceries for the motel room. The RSA is a friendly destination, and provided takeaway meals for the weary traveller to take back to their motel. Some nice fashion shops worth a look too. A minor hassle was the amount of road noise heard in the motel room (probably sounded louder with the motel being situated uphill a short distance from the road). Not a problem at night.Guest review byPatriciaNew Zealand - 10.0
Sensational location on the cliff.
Sensational location on the cliff. Everything very clean and all necessary things sufficiently available. The beds are good, very nicely furnished. Thanks to the host for the helpful tips. We were there at the beginning of April and it was not hot. In real summer it can heat up a lot as there are many windows. There is a mobile cooling unit in the living room (with a hose to the outside when the window is open. In the bedrooms only fan. We would stay there again outside the hot season.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

The villa had an amazing view but would suggest just booking a Waiheke Island Resort room direct, where you would pay less than half the nightly fee for similar villa and have FULL use of their facilities. These included a swimming pool, Spa pool and mini golf.Guest review byStephanieNew Zealand - 10.0

Very private location and the two Units are away from any other houses, etc. Very quiet and peaceful. Spotless too! Parking was 25 feet from the front door. Had a wonderful lunch at Mudbrick Winery and another at The Oyster Inn in Oneroa.Guest review byJenniferUnited States - 10.0

It’s a beautiful place, the views, pool, spa and bbq area are all stunning, such a lovely spot. It’s easy to get around Waiheke from here, by bus as well, we went to Ostend, Oneroa etc and had great food and walks. We enjoyed everything and it was very tidy and clean. The host Dan, was very accommodating and helpful with whatever we needed. Recommend!Guest review byLindaNew Zealand - 10.0

Close to regular buses going to Onetangi and other direction to Oneroa and ferry. Ostend has seating’up town’, shade under sail with tables and grass under foot, big interesting Saturday market, large RSA,Woolworths supermarket, clothing shop and interesting boutique style gift shop, several more and a petrol station and eating out places. It’s pleasant walking around paths off road, the odd local has put a seating bench outside front gate for the public- beautiful views of sea.Easy short walk to The Causeway and moored old quaint boats. Our family group came for family wedding, stayed at Waiheke Motel in four studios, Ostend.Awesome.Guest review byGabrielNew Zealand - 8.0

Man o War, Charlie Farlie, 372, and Cable Bay were excellent , The bus was a bit confusing at first but we worked it out and it became simple.Guest review byCraigerNew Zealand
